- 5 out of 5 stars review8/17/2010I always had a Tracfone and really liked it. We got my daughter this plan and I liked it so much that I went to Straight Talk myself. I am really happy to know that this is a service of Tracfone so I know that I will still get great service. Thank you Tracfone for being progressive!
Mom's minutes

- 5 out of 5 stars review8/11/2010We are just in our first month with StraightTalk, but so far we love it! I am using the 1000 minutes/text card but feel good knowing I can refill early if I use up my minutes faster or that I could go with the unlimited card at any time if I am consistantly using more than 1000 minutes.
Loving StraightTalk
aMomto4 - 5 out of 5 stars review10/11/2010My gripes are trivial but after reading the other reviews I see I'm not alone. Maybe enough of us will get them to make some little changes. A $30. card is more than enough of both minutes and texting for one person and so I'm left with lots of both at the end of the 30 days. Maybe they could rollback after so many months with the company or give discounts to senior citizens or specials to registered users when they purchase new cards or reup by phone or pc. I could have a home phone for under $15. a month because I am disabled and on a very limited income but I gave it up so I could have my phone on me at all times. $15. more a month is a lot to me. I would also like to get rid of the announcement of time remaining, put it on the screen.
For what it's worth!
barbaura - 5 out of 5 stars review8/13/2010We are on our first month but this plan really meets our expectations and saves us over half what we were spending with AT&T. What good are rollover minutes if you build up so many they expire before you can use them?
Great value
1bluedevil1 - 5 out of 5 stars review8/7/2010This is such a great deal!! 1000 minutes, 1000 text/photo messages, and 30 MB of internet usage all for just $30 a month with no contract! Compare that with other pay-as-you-go phone services where you pay $30 for just a couple hours of phone time and no texts or other features. I am probably going to run out of minutes before the 30 days is up, but no worries, because Straight Talk also has an unlimited plan for just $15 more a month!! (Only $45 a month for unlimited minutes, text and phone messages, and internet usage, all with no contract!) The internet usage is a bit more limited on this plan than on contracted plans, because Straight Talk doesn't allow video or audio streaming, and at least on the $30 plan, does not allow enough inter...
Excellent, excellent, excellent!!
musicman707 - 5 out of 5 stars review8/10/201030 day, 1,000 minute card; was included with my phone. Love StraightTalk; you get the power of the Verizon network without the high price or the binding contract.
Just what it says it is
T0nyNder - 4 out of 5 stars review9/9/2010So far this service is working good. No problems and the price seems to be the best.
good value
t32408Walmart Associate - 4 out of 5 stars review8/30/2010my only problem with this is you lose unused minutes every month i don't talk too much on the phone and it can be a substantial amount of minutes
minutes should rollover
jimmyd54Walmart Associate - 5 out of 5 stars review8/17/2010The best thing about this card is Walmart where I bought it. Best cost/minute package out there. I know because I did the shopping and crunched the numbers. You cannot beat Walmarts exchange policy so try this card. There is no contract to lock you in.
Best deal out there!
DroidFan - 3 out of 5 stars review8/9/2010Oh, except none of the customer service agents speak English....they fail to mention you need a translator.
Great Deal, more than needed....for me anyway
RussJoy - 5 out of 5 stars review8/10/2010I chose this phone plan because I wanted to merge my home phone and old cell phone into one phone to cut costs. In one year, I hope to save over $400 on my phone bills. Every time you make a call, the phone reminds you how many minutes you have available on the plan. You can also review that information in the phone settings call timer area.
A Great Phone Plan
ValueShopperInOhio - 1 out of 5 stars review10/25/2010I set up auto renew and the took out unlimited twice. do not auto renew. I don't even use that many texts so I went back to net 10
Just don't auto renew
Rabbit74 - 5 out of 5 stars review8/21/2010I am a very basic user of phone/text service and was tired of trying to "cheap out" on other plans that add text on top of the basic plan and getting hit with roaming charges. I have no such worries of roaming, or going over minutes with the Straight Talk plan. The minutes and and number of texts are more than enough for me, and I've only dropped one call. I've seen others complain, but helloooooo! It's Walmart! Since when don't they stand behind what they sell????? If you don't get anywhere with Straight Talk, go to Walmart! If there truly is a problem and get enough people complaining, they will make the vendor get it right or find someone else! Or use a credit card to pay for service and go to them if you can't get your problem resolve...
So far, so good!
Anonymous4458 - 5 out of 5 stars review12/7/2010I bought myself a straight talk phone and fell in love with it. I have used Sprint, Virgin Mobile, and AT&T. Never again.........Straight Talk is awesome! I bought phones and cards for two of my daughters, my grandson, and my son-in-law. For the others, I got the $45 cards for unlimited everything........my son-in-law didn't want that. I'd recommend this company to everyone, and I do!DJSBOOMBOOM
- 5 out of 5 stars review9/10/2010I have no complaints at all. This is the best deal out there for what you get. Huge savings! I wish the phone selection was better, but I'm sure that will change over time. The service is good. I don't think I've been out of range one time yet. Very happy with straight talk! Now all my friends want it but all of them are stuck with the 2 year contracts. This is definitely worth trying out.
Excellent!!!
Deathgrind - 5 out of 5 stars review9/30/2010Just been using a short time, but Straight talk seems to provide good service at a reasonable price. One thing I would change is that the amount of time remaining is announced before each call. A better option would be to have time remaining appear on the screen with call duration message.
Good value
ARLgreen - 5 out of 5 stars review8/31/2010This $30.00 plan really is all you need, me and my wife were spending $90 a month for 1400 minutes and that was just for two phones and talk only. This plan is great I have reduced my costs drastically and I get all the bells and whistles. No worries about contract and no early termination fees if you get stuck in a bad cell phone company. I am happy Walmart has this plan, maybe the other companies will stop digging so deep in peoples pockets when they can't compete anymore.
Outstanding Price and Quantity
peepsmp - 5 out of 5 stars review4/4/2011For me, 1,000 minutes of talk, 1,000 texts, and 30 MB of internet has been MORE than PLENTY! I don't use the internet very often on the phone, only in emergencies when I don't have WiFi access for my netbook. I just don't like having to deal with a small screen for my internet use. It's just a personal preference. I have never come close to running out of minutes, texts, or internet. But, I'm not a teenager or a twenty-something!
All that I need!
