There are times when I run out of test strips medicare provides me for my testing schedule. Based on my glucose readings, and being on an insulin pump, there are times I need to test more than 6 times per day. I count on the Walmart(tm) to bring to me options for affordable medical diabetic supplies. These test strips do require a coding chip. It is a very small price to pay for accurate and low sample size testing.

These are pretty accurate and more accurate at lower readings. Not quite as accurate at higher readings, but not enough to make a big difference to me. I am really looking for general ball park figures and these strips are inexpensive. If I need a more accurate reading, I use my other meter with the strips that are too expensive for every day use.
I have used Trucktrack for years. It is second best to ACCU CHEK. In choosing between the two, I have to choose what I can afford. I was getting my strips for $8.00 a month until they began closing LSU Medical Services at Huey P. Long and CMAP no longer handles them.
