Woke up this morning to brown vomit on my white carpet which we believe was from our cat. Though we have tile, the cat of course decided to vomit in not one, but 2 rooms. We had a bottle of Resolve Pet Stain Remover Carpet Cleaner with the brush built into the bottle head for the past 6 years. Worked great right up to the last day we used it (about 6 months ago). So it was necessary to go buy a new one. Unfortunately it appears this company no longer makes their product with the scrub brush on it. So I purchased a different brand carpet cleaner that did have a built in scrub brush and was a little less expense than the Resolve Pet Stain Remover. There were actually many different brands of carpet cleaners, and almost all of them made mention of working on pet stains. Much to my surprise the other brand carpet cleaner virtually had no effect. My initial damp cloth cleaning made more of impact on on lifting the stain than use of this product did. I went back to Walmart and purchased the Resolve pet carpet cleaner with the blue and red spray head, but no built in scrub brush. I sprayed it on the residual stain, waited 5 minutes, and after some gently scrubbing and blotting, both stains were completely 100% gone. It just goes to show you, you get what you pay for. Spend a few bucks more for a bottle of Resolve Pet and Stain Cleaner, and a few dollars on a soft scrub brush, and you'll get the stain removed right the first time. Same yourself the hassle and frustration. Just get Resolve and nothing else. Happy cleaning!
