I have to say I was very nervous to order a product like this on-line. I am not an on-line shopper, however I had a hard time finding any stores where I could see this kind of item set up and in stock. I found reading reviews to be the most helpful way for me to choose, so I hope to answer some of the questions that I had while shopping for a play kitchen.......hope this is helpful! We purchased this item for our 18 month old daughter for Christmas. I was worried that it would be too big, and that she would not be able to reach the cupboards or the microwave. We also have a small house and I didn't want the kitchen to be so big that I had no room for it. All my worries were for nothing because even though she has to stand on tip toes she is able to reach everything, and the whole kitchen itself is a very manageable size. The kitchen completely assembled is 38 inches wide, 43 inches tall, and 17 inches deep. I was also having a hard time choosing between this party time kitchen, and the less expensive kitchen by step 2. I'm very glad i upgraded to the party time. The features that make this kitchen more expensive are the very features that my daughter loves the best. such as the working buttons on the microwave and phone, and the working light over the stove. I also read that on the less expensive kitchen there were problems with the stove and fridge staying shut, and we have had no such problems with this one. The set up is as everyone else has said probably the biggest pain, however we found the instructions to be very clear, and all the part to be included. Between my husband and myself it took a little over and hour to assemble and put on all the stickers. An electric screw driver was essential to this process!!!!! My last concern was how many extra accesories that I would have to buy, and what actually came with the kitchen itself. We ended up giving the kitchen to my daughter the weekend before Christmas and so far she has not wanted for anything that the Kitchen does not already come with. There are 2 plates, 2 bowls, 2 cups, 2 forks knives and spoons, all plastic. Also a salt and pepper shaker and a pepper mill with a moving handle. There are 5 spice bottles all different colors that sit in a little rack above the stove. There are a plastic pot with lid and pan with lid. Also a metal colander, and metal spatula, ladle, speghetti spoon, and strainer spoon. Last is a small pot holder. The kitchen does not come with any food. This kitchen has already proven to us to be a great buy. It is very sturdy and everything works as it should. I have even caught my child standing on the oven door witch opens downs to the floor, and she has not damaged it at all. Hope this info was all helpful.
