This is by far the best Scooby Doo movie I've seen. There is almost constant monster action from the very beginning to the end, with a lot of great music. Some of the other movies have too much dialog without enough scary for my 25 month old daughter, but this one doesn't disappoint. There are a variety of monsters, pirates, ghosts & zombies, and the main bad guys turn out to be bipedal werecats (thinks Stephen King's "Sleepwalkers".) Very cool! For a mom who is a huge horror movie fan myself, I'm stoked my daughter loves this movie as much as she does, and I enjoy it too. (The zombies turn out to be good guys by the way, there is no brain eating, don't worry!) The soundtrack is also very fun, and it goes along with the scenes, unlike other Scooby Doo movies I've seen. My daughter is memorizing all the songs & sings along with them exuberantly as she dances; she asks every day to watch, "Scooby Doo, Zombie Island." If you're tired of watching Dora & Sesame Street, and your child thinks spooky things are fun, I'd give this a try!
