The death of the legendary George Carlin still depresses me, three years after the fact. Throughout the years, George was brought in to my home via VHS, cassette, CD, and DVD, and always made me think about life, death, and everything in between. After 'Life is Worth Losing', this was a breath of fresh air. George was more lively, giving us flashbacks of his mannerisms of old. He seemed to be in better spirits and in better health, but he died a short time later.
This isn't close to being his best special. I wouldn't even rate it in the top 5, but it was definitely a good way to go out. He was on top of the world, and he was loved by millions.
Thank you for everything, George... The four times I got to see you live in concert, the autograph you sent me in 2001, and your razor sharp wit. Without you, I wouldn't be the rational thinker that I am today.
