One sugar package was totally burst open - requiring a scoop - and the addition of UNWANTED potato chips (of which 3 were burst open - one so bad it was scattered around the box) in the sugar. The second (of 4) packages of sugar had also been burst open, but only slightly, so not a big deal in itself. ALL paper and plastic bagged items should NOT be included in the boxes of item with HEAVY (metal, plastic liquid, etc) types of items, and the shipping turbulence tends to hammer the plastic and paper bagged items. THREE of the bags of potato chips were also ruptured - one severely, and had residue left in the 'attempted' recovery of the burst sugar bag. The other 2 bags had been burst open, but only slightly, so no loss of contents - - - BUT there was the loss of the dry nitrogen packing atmosphere in the bags, resulting in fast deterioration of the quality of the chips.
NEVER place an order with mixed paper/plastic bags and ANY heavy items like canned goods, large bottled goods, or solid metallic items that will be dumped - without adequate packing protection - leaving you with reduced goods count, quality, and sometimes an utterly un-salvageable mess for you to clean up ! ! !
TIP for WalMart - put sugar in plastic bags - and NEVER put chips in a box with ANY ITEMS that are heavier than 8 to 12 ounces ! ! !
