Plenty of chips in this mix, nice texture, quick and easy. The dough consistency is quite stiff, so now I make sure the stick of butter is sufficiently warm before trying to blend the ingredients. Also, when I tried to form cookies larger than the suggested 2-inches in diameter, some of the somewhat crumbly finished cookies tended to split apart as I removed them from the cookie sheet. Naturally I had to eat all the broken ones.
I use this cookie mix often, and it just gets easier every time. Turn on the oven, get a bowl, drop a stick of butter in it and zap it for 30 seconds. Stir in the mix and an egg. Plop spoonfuls of dough on a cookie sheet, stick it in the oven, set timer for 9 minutes. Get a plate ready, pour a glass of milk. Promise yourself you'll only eat 3 of them. Remove cookies to plate (or cooling rack if you prefer). After eating 6, pour a little more milk and eat 1 more. Promise yourself to run an extra mile tomorrow. Hurry up and wrap up the rest of the cookies and hide them. Share them with someone else ONLY if they insist and threaten you with bodily harm.
