I had this stand for a few weeks...so far I love it! I used this for a few scenes in a web series I'm filming. .in both scenes my actors were seated and it worked great! This week ima try it with them standing. Oh and I had to buy a 3/8 to 5/8 adapter to put my boom mic and shock mount on it. The first picture is of the stand at the lowest height and the boom arm fully extended and the second pic is of the adapter that I bought of Amazon. Make sure you figure out what size your shock mount is so you can get the right adapter.

Nice build. FYI - mic holder sold separately.
This stand can be used in several configurations. It is lightweight but is not tippy and packs easily. It does the job at a decent price.
We bought this microphone stand for our ten year old daughter who loves to sing and intend on using this item in our home. The quality is great however did not know that you have to purchase the clip to hold the mic to the stand separately (this was not listed in the product details). I am unable to find this attachment on walmart.com and will now have to search elsewhere. All in all it's a good value for the money just make sure you purchase a mic that comes with the clip for the stand.
Just what the doctor ordered. Been using multiple ones. About a dozen, actually. Very affordable, as well. Highly recommended product.
It is a solid matal and strong, better than I thought. It is good price ,too.
I DID NOT NEED THEM FOR NOW!
This mic stand is quality for the money. More than I expected for the money.
This was my first mic stand. I returned it. I set this thing up in my living room and had some doubts about how long it will last. It seems to be a made of metal and plastic. However, it was the plastic tighteners at critical locations that had me concerned. How hard can you crank down on a plastic tightener? If this product never leaves your house you will probably be okay. If you plan on setting it up and taking it down repeatedly I would suggest that you upgrade.
I purchased this boom mic stand for my drummer so he could sing at band practiced. This boom stand works fabulously. It has a long extension and is made from mostly metal. It seems very durable and will last you a very long time. I am very impressed with this company, (On Stage) and their attention to quality. I also have their guitar amp stand and it is great. Invest in this quality stand and keep on rocking.
The product was ordered thru the store and came less than a week later. The stand is exactly what we wanted, a simple mic stand for our young grandaughter who wants to play the piano and sing at the same time. She now can move the mic exactly where she wants and sing away!
good product for price paid should have mentioned in ad that it does NOT INCLUDE microphone clip/holder which is not available at Walmart. Guitar Center has them inexpensive. Or buy the same as combo from them for a bit more cash from Guitar Center--not too much more!
The product excellent...It is my fault for not noticing but you would think when you order a mic stand that it would have a mike holder included...It did not, so had to order mike holder which was too small for our mike...finally found one locally to fit
It's a pretty sturdy mic stand. I use it to hold my Blue Yeti, which is a very heavy mic, so the counterweight on it isn't much help and I have to tighten the clamp really hard, but with a lighter mic this thing would be perfect.
Awesome stand!!! I don't know why people are complaining about not having a microphone adapter. Those adapters come with your microphone when you purchase them. ??????? So I don't get why you would complain about adapters.
The mic stand broke almost immediatly after opening .
seems like a nice stand-
but lacked a mike holder-
plan to take it back and get a round base instead=
the tripod base take up to much room
was just what it said
