Crush the dry mix with a rolling pin while still in the bag..mix with sour cream or greek yogurt , chill at least 2 hours for flavors to meld and you have a most delicious chip dip.
We got a pack from a friend who visited the states a while back and I made it last week.
It's a shame we cannot get it here in the Netherlands... :-(
Instead of chestnuts I used wallnuts and it tasted great!
When it's your turn at bat, add a package of Knorr Vegetable recipe mix to a pound of your favorite cooked pasta (I use spiral) and favorite mayo and let it sit 12 hours or longer. Re-toss with a little more mayo just before serving, and enjoy the compliments. No one needs to know how much time you saved by skipping the chopping and dicing.
Add 1 pkg of Mrs. Knorr's Vegetable Soup Mix to 1 large container of Sour Cream, chill, and you've got a crowd-pleasing dip. Everyone loves this!
Years ago I found a recipe for meatloaf on the Vegetable recipe mix. It was the best ever meatloaf!!! Even my Mom said so.

Way too much salt. I find the 'trouble' of chopping well worth the improvement over health and taste of being able to control the salt.
