Don't buy this barbell

This barbell comes in three pieces that slide together. This creates two overlapping joints that are held in place by a tiny screw each. The overlap between pieces is only an inch. When you lift the barbell loaded with weight plates, there is significant bending at the joints. This is bad. After buying this disappointing barbell I had to go buy a real one-piece barbell and the three piece Walmart barbell sits unused. Don't waste your money on this.

This is really not a good product to buy; especially if you're a serious lifter. But even if you're not, this is not the product to buy. The bar comes in three parts, held together with 2 small crews. The more weight you add to the bar, the more pressure you put on the screws locking and holding the bard together. If your workout routine includes benching, this is not the bar to use.
