New PS2

I didn't know that any place still had new in the box consoles. I went looking for a used one and couldn't find one locally so I went online and walmart.com had them. Really a good price and it's so much better than the original older one that I had. I am very pleased about this purchase.

    Great Product For All Ages!

    We had the first Play Station, then was given the Play Station 2 Slim. We have never had any trouble with the way it played, and we were not "easy" on the new one. We even left it on for several days at a time because everyone was linning up to use it. It seemed it went non stop. We have owned this game for at least 5 years now and it has finally gotten an "ERROR" message and is no longer working properly. I have got the instructions on how to "FIX" the problem but seems I never have the time to stop long enough to do so. We miss this game so much we are just going to purchase this game again. By the way---We are Great Grandparents in our 60s and its great entertainment for everyone--including us. The game is in our opinion one of the best!

    Great System

    I have owned this system since the day it came out, almost 9 years ago, and have never had a problem with it. A great system with an amazing array of games. And its still being supported by Sony!

    Classic game system

    Once i read that they are no longer producing the PS2 i had to make sure that i brought another one before they sell out and you cannot get another one brand new. It's great to have the old gaming system since they are easy fix at home and do not require updates like the newer systems. Im keeping this one in the box.

    Cant live without my PS2

    The ps2 was and still is one of the best systems on the market. The quantity of truly great games are flat-out unrivaled . I am not sure when the ps2 came out, but I know that the decade marker is on the horizon, But I know from experience that its age doesn't make it outdated . The ps2 has a super super super vast selection of to choose from and it seems that by the time i beat one , they already came out with another one. I intend to spend 10000's of hours playing all the new and my all time favorite games. To put this into perspective , I have more time on my ps2 in two weeks than I have put on my WII in 8 months!!!

    Last of a great console generation

    After my kids found boxes of old PS1 and PS2 games in the attic, we had to get a working PS2 system to play them on. Could only find a used system elsewhere locally, and it quit working after 30 minutes. Luckily found the PS2 console NEW at Walmart.com. They quit making these beauties at the beginning of 2013, so I was happy to get a quality memento console while the getting was still good. This is the final gen PS2 obviously, and it is amazingly small compared to my old well loved but worn out 1st gen PS2 and PS1 consoles. Don't forget to get a component video cable so it will look best on modern HD panels.

    the new ps2 is a great value for the type of unit it is. i will be interested to see if its bare-bone features (no internal fan to cool the unit, pop-up disc holder) will give it the longevity i am looking for. the price makes it a good choice rather than going craigslist or e-bay to take a chance on something used. it was easier writing the summary than meeting your permanent nickname criteria.

    Wal-Mart has always been my shopping place. For the first time ever I purchased online and was amazed at how fast the order was received. I was not totally satisfied with the performance of the game I ordered, however, I am an old-timer and want what I want. Wal-Mart was informed and my problem is being taken care of. You're in good hands with Wal-Mart.

    Standard for beginners.

    This PS2 console is smaller and more portable. Because the old-fashioned PS2 consoles may get corrupt by now. Curiousity lingers all over as we all know those old-fashioned models don't work too well.

    Replacement PS2

    Bought this as a replacement for another PS2 that finally died after the kids left it on, spinning, for well over a day. We had the previous one for years so we got our money out of it and since we had money invested in the games I bought a replacement. I would liked to have bought a PS3 instead, but the new ones won't play the PS2 games. Dell as always had a good price and fast shipment.

    great

    I used to have the fat ps2 and we always had problems but now the slim one works better with no problems, has online capability and can fit wherever you want. Even though there are new systems like the ps3 and 360, it still comes out with games. Great product

    PlayStation 2

    My sons PlayStation 2 was almost five years old and had seen better days. Finding a new unit with such a great price and the fact in included two free games was great. With the economy the way it is and the price on everything goiing through the roof this is a great buy, Great service, fast delivery.

    Awesome

    ive had the ps2 when it first came out and my old one finally died so i went and got the new 1 a couple months ago and the graphics are great so for first time gamers i would recommend buying the ps2.

    this was problably one of the best game systems i have and it works exellent and it takes a lot of abuse i have dropped it down the stairs one time and ther was not even a scratch on it. and very portable.
