Very reliable this is my 2nd one the last one lasted about 10 years. No problems till it just wore out. Easy to setup I just use the plugs.
Easy to set up. Immediate functionality.
CyberPower 685VA / 390Watt AVR Battery Back UPS has the most bang for the 'buck'. This UPS is $14 cheaper at Walmart, then the next closest online or retail competitor, while providing ALL the available UPSfeatures on the market for well under $100. Even handles your 'cable connected' phone (land line). This UPS also provides signal smoothing (sine wave configuration). The next UPS unit with these features is almost 3x the price of this unit. Peter.
Unless you are supplying backup power to a night light forget this product and buy an APC or Tripplite. Not only is the tech support a bunch of clowns -took 3 days to tell me that this unit is only good as a paper weight- but the product is junk. All I had plugged into the thing was a CPU and it tripped the breaker on a power outage. The CPU was using only half of the available power according to their software and it couldnt even handle that. Tech support's fix buy a different computer. My fix- go elsewhere if you are using it to power a computer, buy it if you are powering a night light.
This battery back UPS is pretty strong even for my tower pc and the power has went out two times both times this UPS kept my computer running long enough for the software to shut it down and it still had over 5 min. left of run time. So if your computer is useing about 250 to 300 watts i would recommend this product.
