If you love the previous the Sims 2 expansion packs.. I guarentee you'll love this one as well. From what I have seems many great additions are coming along with expansion pack and I can not wait to buy it! The Sims 2 and all the expansion packs are excellent, so if you are an addict of the Sims 2, I highly recommend buying it.

Great addition!

Best expansion pack in a while

This EP has added some challenge and fun to my Sims game again. Still comes with all of Maxis' expected bugs and problems, but with the community's help, it's a great addition to the game.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

GET THIS!!!!!!!! I love it soooooooo much! It is sooooo awesome, you can make pots, fix up cars, make teddy bears, throw footballs, play soccer, play basketball, have model cars, have an ant farm and shake it up, a baby drawing table and sooooooooooooooo much more!

A Video Game I Play With My Kids

My kids always want me to play video games with them. Until we found the Sims 2 games, I really wasnt up for playing video games. Sims 2 is one I can get into. So my kids and I will spend an hour or two a week, designing houses, creating our characters, and then playing a game that, somewhat, imitates family life. I would recomend this game for adults, teenagers, and with help from an adult, older children. Be sure to set a timer, to regulate the time you play, this game will suck you in.

Best EP Yet!

If you love the Sims 2, you will love this expansion pack! You can do so many new things with your sims, and you get so many new objects for your house! I would reccomend this product to anyone who likes the sims 2. 5 Stars!

Good EP, not my favorite

I was really looking forward to this EP and... it's not bad. I guess it really depends on what you're looking for out of the game. Open for Business is by far my favorite EP, that and Seasons. This one is pretty cool though. You get a lot of AWESOME new clothes, lots of new interactions and activities. It's just not as cool as it sounds I guess, not for me. Restoring cars is fun and now you can just walk to lots instead of driving. Also, you can play several sports and they're great for upping your body skill, not to mention the fun level. I'd recommend getting it, honestly, because it's fun, and it's different.

A good add to the sims 2

this expansion is a fun and nice one. Now your sims get rewarded for spending time in doing what they like most (watching tv, playing music, playing games) they also after spending some time in their hobbies get to go to "secret lots" (they're just lots with all the items in their hobby interests that they can use). It's entertaining, and recommended.

Lots of stuff

There are many new things that you can do in this expansion pack. it makes the sims 2 more enjoyable and i am warning you that it is very addictive. Once you start playing you will not be able to stop. Cons: If you have Vista I do not recamend this product what so ever. It is a pain to work with it and took me hours to try and make it work before i gave up. But the patches do help that are on the sims website.

Good Expansion

IMO, this expansion is really nice. It gives you more activities for your sims to do and even create your own items - like building the car (my favorite). It's not as pivotal like Seasons, but it still is a decent expansion. Worth the money

Better ones than this...

As for expantions, this one was a bit of a bore for regular play usage. Not a necessary part of Sims2 overall. Some of the extras were cool though.

1. Yes, you have to have double deluxe or the sims2.
by ALCgamer
2. Yes, the Sims 2 Double Deluxe was a fancier version of the original Sims 2. They are both the base game for Sims 2 and any expansion is compatible with it.

1. I have, but sometimes there are performance issues. Program compatibility, under properties, may solve that, though.
by ALCgamer
2. YES, the Sims 2 is fully compatible with the 32-bit version of Vista.

3. I have the Sims2 (Released in 2004)and every expansion pack except for the last two. (I don't have any of the Stuff packs either.) But, I bought a new laptop in April that has Windows Vista, and I play my games on it just fine!

1. Depending on what the child does and how the parent percieves it, the parent can Lecture the child. There are always actions that the parent can do by the user (as in you) to create that punishment aspect if the option for Lecture does not pop up.
