If it isn't broke don't fix it. They changed the shape a little bit, also the taste of the newer version is different, not bad but not as good as the older version. They changed the wrapper to twisty ends. I personally like the sealed ends better, easier to push thru wrapper %26 get out to use.

not real peppermint
i was extremely surprised that i did not know that starlights are the only mint not to have pepermint oil in them. that is a shame to call it peppermint when it's not. so many of them were not even wrapped. lots of them are broken. this was just like the crap at the bottom of the barrel. i think I will just stick to the dollar stores hard candy. at least the quality is good. i needed peppermint for a health reason and bought these only to find out its fake peppermint. a whole bag of artificial flavoring and junk. oh well. we live, we learn, and we get ripped off.
