Buy a filter or be a filter

Noisy but effective. Cabin life is great especially a roaring fireplace but even a well sealed firebox can create a lot of airborne particulates. Micro particles of wood ash wafting around meant dusting was a frequent chore. This thing really works. It quietly cycles on and off under normal conditions but goes into overdrive within seconds when the firebox is opened to clean out the ash. Sensing the particles from 15ft away. It does get pretty loud then drowning out normal conversation for 20-30 seconds. But when there's no wood ash or dust it stays quiet. After 4 months of use I can say its worth the purchase and our lungs are very appreciative.

Auto-Functionality is a Win!

Just received and started using our new Coway Airmega air purifier. So far, we are totally impressed with how quiet it is, its look and auto function, changing fan mode to ramp up purification when the color light auto changes to show need for higher air purification. It auto moves, based on air quality. Since I'm asthmatic, this will be a big help in our bedroom.
