New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe (Switch)

I bought this for a Christmas present for my 8 yr old grandson. Was unsure which video game to get him, but actually don't care for all of those war games, where you walk around through diff levels, using all diff kinds of weapons, killing the enemy, in horrific ways, %26 the demons or the cryptids that they portray. Remembering when Nintendo 1st came out with Mario Bros., the kids loved it %26 my husband %26 I would play it too, when they were sleeping! Loved all the hidden bonuses that you could get, that you didn't even know they were there unless you tried it. So, I thought Mario would be a good, active game that was trying %26 happy fun. I bought my grandson this New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. I was taking a chance, not ever playing it or even watching it, but I went for it. On Christmas, he opened his game, %26 my son really commented on how good of a game it is, %26 how my grandson will love it! He also said, "Mom, you picked a really good one!" This came from my son that has been a manager of a Comic Book Gaming Store, since he 1st started working! Totally into all of that stuff! This made me feel very good with my purchase! I am still, once again, the "coolest grandma!" Thank you!
