sometimes it shuts off

the fan is a little loud and will guzzle the water quickly. using ice slows it down. I'm not sure why it has a time limit in it. doesn't say anything about it in the instructions. you might wake up hot. oh and don't put the mister on close to clothing... you might wake up wet🤦🏼‍♀️

Not for full room cooling as it described

This was labeled an air conditioner. It is an air cooler with a mist option. Does not cool off more than 5 feet. Our upstairs does not get air from the central ac so its always 90 degrees or more. Was hoping this would help cool the rooms down a bit. I wish they wouldn't advertise things it does not do.
