This pesto was such a delight to find. I can say that this pesto is better than my homemade hand me down recipe I've used for years. I have tried other brands, but this one is top notch! The taste and texture are authentic with just the right amount of basil to garlic ratio. YUM! I spread this on garlic bread, and it is always devoured with many compliments!! Or, I just have a snack with it spread on a slice of sourdough bread or crackers. Plus, it is so good for you! I just wish it came in a larger size! 5 stars!!!!!

Classico traditional basil pesto
This is the only basil pesto sauce that I use. I have tried different brands and always come back to the Classico Brand. I find it to be a little expensive, so I have opted to try other brands but no other brand that I have tried compares to this in having the perfect blend of basil and olive oil flavor. I have to admit, that I tried to make my own basil sauce and it just wasn't the same.
