So far I am very pleased with this ONN. laptop
The reasons I did not give 5 stars is because there is no panel for RAM memory upgrade. First get all the Windows updates. Wi-Fi works well as does the bluetooth for my mouse connection. The image quality is beautiful, everything looks better. Sound is good but volume is imited through the four small speakers but they are top mounted and produce clear sound. Use the realtec audio console to select a sound profile, "live" seems to work best. Sound through headphones is excellent with great stereo separation watching Netflix movies. The movies look fantastic really HD. The glossy screen can be a distraction depending on room lighting. The laptop was heavier than expected and feels very well built. The design does not match the display unit exactly ie no Bang and Olufsen on the speaker grill and stickers next to the touchpad. Touchpad works well but I use a mouse. Very little online about this and $399 is slightly steep for the specs, however I have no regrets. I am not a gamer so the 4gb ram is enough for my use. Fast boot up now that all the updates are installed. 15 sec or less is great. Overall it is a keeper.

DON'T BUY IT AT ALL.
This laptop sucks. I work from home and I can not do anything on it. My mic sound trash when I am live. Same pixels as my old laptop. I can't edit my pictures because the touch screen is all wonky. There is only one usb port on it. Almost toss across the room because I am angry with it. DON'T BUY IT. I was about to retire my computer but that will never happen because of this crappy computer.

Got it for a month, very good for

The display is a lcd screen, but has good viewing angles. I think the screen produces a good color spectrum. The speakers are decently loud for it's size(though I have heard phones be louder). To boot up, it takes maybe five seconds to get to the sign in screen, faster than any phone I have owned. I comes with windows 10 s which means you can only download programs from the windows store

For this price point, very nice configurations, use it for school, performs good enough, very satisfied.

Good for students

This laptop is good for student, like me, who just need a laptop to write papers and submit assignments. I only used it for basic things, so I can't comment on its performances on other activities. But, as I said, it is good enough for students.

it's not bad

You know what? it's not that bad. It's price is hella inflated for it's specs, but all of the bells and whistles make up for it. it PASSED my benchmark, WebGL water. so, yeah. i like it. this reviw was written ON this laptop.

Charger

This laptop ran well and I was really enjoying it, however my friends new puppy got a hold of my charger and I have searched and searched for HOURS and I can not find a new charger for this laptop. So if you see this and can tell me where I can get a new charger for it I would greatly appreciate it because I am losing hope.

I wanted to love this but.....

I wanted to love this laptop but instead I am returning. The laptop build is nice for this price range, great screen clarity, nice keyboard and key travel. Unfortunately....... the fan never shut off and the speakers are terrible. Nice effort Walmart but I am passing on this one, better luck next time.

Keep freezing, won't load images half the time, have to reboot it several times because apparently my video exelerator is crashing. Causes more problems than it solves

Worst Laptop I've Ever Had!! Not Worth Price!!!!

I bought this notebook/laptop exactly a week ago. I'm a college student and the HP laptop I had since I was in 7th grade finally gave in. Laptops are limited at the moment due to forceful online classes and quarantine. The only things they had left we're these, Chrome books and HPs. I'm not a fan of Chrome and the HPs were very expensive. I did not get the 2 year warranty when I bought this because I couldn't afford to. I just needed to do my online assignments and research papers. When I first operated the notebook the screen graphics were very clear and sharp and the updated windows display was very nice along with Microsoft Edge. But I noticed that my mouse would randomly jump to the bottom of the screen sometimes and activate the windows menu and other settings. I thought, “it's probably just acting that way because it's brand spanking new”. Well today. My keyboard began to act extremely funny and type up letters without me touching them and when I would delete them it would type the same letters over again... Even when I would restart my computer. I even tried to reset it and the keyboard just went out... I spent all of my college money on this to finish my online classes for the rest of the semester. I don't think Walmart is gonna exchange or give me my money back and the libraries are closed. I am at a turning point and I don't know what to do. I HAVE FINALS COMING UP!!! Please do not buy this. If you do. The moment something starts acting funny, don't second guess it. TAKE IT BACK!!

1. NO. There will be intolerable latency with any decent DAW. An I3 processor is entry level, 4GB RAM is not near enough. This is primarily an inexpensive laptop for home use, light business and browsing. Don't let anyone tell you high latency is acceptable. This is NOT a music production or gaming laptop.
