The chairs were difficult, not because it was hard to put together it's really not but with the allen key and the angle trying to screw the back legs to the front legs turning it like maybe a quarter in. each time is time consuming. However despite the box being banged up the furniture itself was perfectly fine and everything I needed came, and in one box. Just make sure you get everything tight especially the table (that part was the easiest.) It's small for 4 people but workable and perfect for smaller eating areas. It's basic and cute I love it.

Nice little dining set
This is a nice little dining set that's perfect for a small room. It has a deep rich brown color, almost black. I really like the chairs. If you take your time and put it together right it is also very sturdy. This set has a modern look to it and doesn't look cheap. Just keep in mind that it also doesn't look like you spent a thousand bucks on it either. Assembly does take some time. I'm pretty handy and have put many pieces of furniture together and it took around two hours to put together. Make sure to have a clear workspace and unpack and separate all the pieces before starting assembly. The table was easy but the chairs take a little longer. Once you get one done the others will go quick. The instructions aren't the best but are workable. They say not to use power tools but I did use a cordless drill and adjusted the torque setting to 16 then did the final tightening by hand. To have a five piece dining set that is delivered to your door, is set up in under two and a half hours, looks nice and is sturdy, all for around $200 dollars to me is a very good value.
Great Table! Chairs? A lil (Lots!) of help please!
The table is a 5 star. However the chairs. Oh my goodness Walmart- what happened? You know how in order to put together 4 chairs, one needs 16 pieces? For some reason the piece labled "front"...? Well, I have 2 sets of "front" pieces glued - no, not just a little stuck- GLUED together. So the box of legs and other chair parts continues to sit on my floor because I haven't qiite figured out how to tackle this one with the virus going on and all... Received it on 3/17 today is 5/9 what to do. What. To. Do. Andrea Salem, Oregon
Good for student space
First chair took hours to assemble :/. Once you figure out how to assemble the first one, the rest is easy. Took me about 6 hours or so to get everything done. I like the look of it, although the chairs are a little wobbly and the table is really small. I give it 3 stars because it serves the purpose. I mainly use it as my desk.
Missing a part and half of instructions
Needing a new table in time for Christmas for a new house, I procrastinated until the last minute, but the online description promised delivery by 12/23 and I placed the order. On the 22nd, I got a text saying it would arrive 12/27. But FedEx showed up at 5pm on the 23rd anyway, so I thought all would be good only to realize the chairs do not come assembled as I hoped. I unpacked everything on a hard surface floor and divided the parts according to the instructions to find I was missing 1 wooden dowel for a chair. Anyway, the table assembly was easy & quick. But as I looked at all the different size parts for the chairs and went back to the instructions for help only to realize I was missing 2 pages of instructions. Needless to say the chair assembly was a guessing game and took quite a while to figure out. I did get 3 chairs assembled and made it through Christmas. I recommend the table for a small kitchen or apartment and I recommend one doesn't procrastinate when possible a lot of assembly is required.
If you don't have the money...
You get what you pay for. While it is nice looking, and assembly only took four hours- it's extremely weak. This thing was tightened to the maximum without breaking it and it still wobbled. The chairs can't handle the impact of somebody sitting down that weighs more than 150. The cushions go flat fast. Otherwise the wood finish is nice, came with no scratches, and was a fun experience to set up. I recommend this only for people on a budget and looking for something short-term. This set won't survive beyond 2 years.
I received it with the table broken underneath. I was going to suck it up and when my boyfriend and I went to assemble the chairs we realized the dowels were too big and made the wood split and would not stay together. Everything cracked when I tried to put it together. The table it's self is very low quality the sides that come down under the table are the lowest quality material I have ever seen they were cardboard like and just fell apart. I was very disappointed and ended up returning it to the store to get my money back to get something that wouldn't fall apart. It also had someone else's handprints on the bottom which was very disturbing.
