When I got my iPad, I was immediately impressed. Just to hold, it felt comfortable and was easy to adjust to your hands. When you turn it on, it quickly responds and is ready in 45 seconds for use. The iPad is very sensitive and it responds very well. Plus, you can get easy response when you surf the internet or download a new app. My only problem is that the iPad is very breakable without protection. If you were to drop it, the screen would be cracked all over. Although the screen would still work, it kind of ruins it... The iPad is also easy to scratch. It's HIGHLY recommended that you get a protective screen case to keep the screen in best condition as possible. Overall, the iPad is definitely worth the $500 (or which model you get). You'll be happy that it can become your new best electronic.

There was NO directions on how to work the Ipad. I have no idea what to do with it. I have seen other people with this item but have no idea what to do with it. It seemed so easy to operate. I have ordered abook on how to use it I hope I will be able to find out how to operate it. Over $400 for and item and no directions is a poor way for a company to do business. Even a $19 phone has directions Vey dissatisfiedon this purchase.

Yeah, it's that cool

I decided I wanted an Ipad in Jan. and decided to wait for the Ipad 2 to come out because I knew that it would have the cameras and the dual core processor. The Ipad 2 is a remarkable product. Will it repalce a laptop? No. it won't, but it is more convenient than a laptop for many applications. The Ipad 2 was a great purchase and I would recommend it to anyone. Well worth the money and walmart.com has one of the best retail websites available. The 16 gb model is actually only 14 after you sync it to Itunes which I assume is because 2 gb is dedicated to the operating system. I felt was this was a bit misleading, but still am glad I opted only for the 16gb model as it suits my needs just fine. I can store a few digital copy movies and tons of apps, photos and music on it and still have data storage capacity to add stuff via wi-fi on the go.

Great for college students who use ebooks

If you download the Ibook app from the app store you can load pdf files on to it and it allows you to enlarge the image so you don't miss out on the graphs and charts in textbook ebook for classes. Great time saver and acts as a second computer screen when looking at powerpoint presentations and looking at an original picture at the same time your editing it. The apps are all important to how useful it's going to be for you.

Awesome!

I was never an apple products fan. It took me a while to decide to go for the ipad 2. well, I guess going down to 399 was my biggest motivation. lol.. its completely awesome. I love the size and the fact that its not heavy at all.. compared to my hp touchpad, I love , love love the Ipad 2 and would recommend it...

Not the newest version, but still great!

I put off getting an iPad since they came out. I finally have one, and I am not regretting it, to save 100 and get the older version was a good move

a good purchase

Did not really need this ipad2, but wanted something different then my laptop. It was easy to setup and use. We love using the facetime with the grandchildren. Have added several apps and intend to download a few more.

Very user-friendly. Love the product.

I love the Ipad2 as it can do so many things. The pictures are beautiful, Has a lot of Apps I can use. As I learn more of what it can do, I love it more. Should have gotten one before now.

More then satisfied

I purchased this ipad for my autistic daughter so that she can carrying it around. Its worth every penny. She was able to automatically catch on to the apps and where to go to find what she needed. The picture apps are very helpful. Its small enough and big enough to go with us everywhere. We purchased her favorite videos and movies and downloaded them so that she can have them available anytime. The sound is great and the picture quality is like having a computer screen. Goodbye to those portable dvd players.....goodbye to all those cd's that we lugged around and trips to the video stores. Now she has games, videos, music and movies...with a touch ..........what a deal....we are ALL happy...

Things I wish I knew before I spent $700

In hopes that some of you will not experience the same surprises, I did, here are the worst items I wish I knew before purchasing an ipad2: -iPad will not recognize non-Apple video format (Quicktime), ditto for iMovie video editing app which was one of the reasons I bought an ipad -Front and rear cameras take extremely poor quality photos and video. Low-light shooting is not possible. Camera function is extremely limited, no shot delay, flash, etc.. -On-screen keyboard has no arrow key making effective editing almost impossible. Apple controls this capability, so no third-party keyboard is available -ipad2 requires a special charger that pumps out a minimum of 10 watts. This eliminates use of USB ports on your laptop and virtually every USB power port or adapter that people already own. -Smart cover needs a companion cover to protect the rear and sides of unit. To date, I have not found such a product. -Smart cover flops around when it is opened, no place to effectively stow it. -Since iPads do not have a USB port (!), Apple's camera connection kit was originally able to facilitate file transfer via standard USB stick. This is not possible on iPAD2 due to insufficient power. -Built-in iPOD App functionality is extremely limited and playlists do not sync after 1st sync. -iPad is very dependent on regular connection to laptop (or host) for backup, itunes sync. iTunes is slow and buggy and does not always recognize ipad is connected. -Not as stable as I would have thought, frequent crashes & freeze ups. -Chokes when connecting to Tmobile hotspot, need to disable popups, etc.. Things I like: -Battery life -Screen is beautiful but could be better -Selection of apps is cool but certainly not limitless -Ability to play movies -Instant on (requires smart cover)

Great product, many apps.

I have had other ( Android) tablets in the past and none come close to quality and value of the iPad. The number of apps are unbelievable, the speed of the browser and clarity of the display is unmatched. The only thing missing is the ability to play flash video and to add storage. Overall the best tablet I seen out there.

1. The iPad 2 comes with a 10W power adapter in the box already. There are other devices you can buy...an iPad 2 dock and vehicle power kits that will also charge your iPad 2.
by dspiral73
2. You get a charger with the iPad so there is no reason to buy another one.
by Sunriseja
3. The charger comes with the IPad 2. You can either use the usb or plug it in the wall. The charger has an adapter so you can use either one. I read where they say it charges faster if you plug it into the wall and turn the IPad off all the way. It does take a long time to charge it. I charge it overnight.
by mawood1231
4. The ipad2 comes with an adapter already to charge it...also a USB to sync your ipad2....
by BeLLaRose120
5. I have found that most ichargers will charge the iPad 2. But you are unable to charge it via a computer or a car charger, there just isn't enough power to charge the iPad through these routes.
by 122410
6. It comes with the cord to plug in the wall.. That same cord also will plug Into the computer on it's USB side. So if ya get the ipad2 new the cord will be in the box
by Sunsfan1
7. To charge the ipad2, you must have a USB connection that supplies 10 watts which is not standard. You can purchase Apple's $30 adapter or less expensive knockoffs but iad2 will not charge from your existing chargers or USB ports.
by tedo71
8. Your Ipad 2 comes with both an electrical outlet charger (white square one) and a USB charger (white cord with USB plugs on each end.)
by PearlsOfWisdom
9. the charger comes with the ipad2
by BuckBadgerFan
10. MyiPad came with a charging cord that can also be used to connect it to a computer. First cord I have seen that can do both.

1. Yes and you can get apps for some of those games.
by Lizie630
2. No iPad does not use Flash but they have special versions of Facebook games for iPad.
by julee401
3. The iPad does not support Flash, but this is not an issue in 90% of the cases. Even with Farmville, there is an App in the iTunes store for Farmville. All you have to do is look it up in the App Store and download. :) Easy. So you know, I work in high tech and Flash is going away. Apple made a controversial decision not to add it, but it's a good call. Flash can be very unstable and a real battery drainer.
by MichaelPhotoGuy
4. No. You can't use any Flash based games. When using the web browser, you'll constantly get big blank spaces where flash based content would be, and there is still a lot of it on the web--slideshows, videos, interactive content. There are some work around apps, but you have to pay for them, and they all involve compromises which aren't very satisfactory.
by Trey11
5. no
by BuckBadgerFan
6. I just went to google to find out the exact same question..does this play Farmville, and Cityville... from what I can tell....YES you can, so Im in search of an iPad 2. They are sold out everywhere. For your own info this is what it says exactly.....Plow, plant and harvest on the go 24/7! FarmVille, the most popular game on the web, is now available on your iPhone and iPad. Current FarmVille players can access their existing Facebook farm, and new users can create a farm. Hope this helps. =)
by Mama437527
7. There are apps in the app store for both cityville and farmville.
by Barbinator
8. But, there is a Farmville app. I don't know about a Cityville app. In fact I downloaded Farmville just 2days ago and am playing it.
by ila123
9. no, the none of ipads offer adobe flash

1. No. I don't understand your question either.
by Larsaa
2. I saw that too. It is ridiculous that it says no battery. The ipad2 contains a sealed rechargeable 10-hour battery and comes with a USB charging cable, so you can charge it from your computer, and also an AC adapter so you can plug it into a wall outlet.
by NeilEd
3. There is an internal battery. You an charge it via a regular electrical outlet. It will charge some when connected to a Windows computer and will charge when connected to a MAC.
by ila123
4. no you do not if there is a problem with your battery i would go straight to apple and tell them about your problem you are having with your battery. hope this answer helped you out!
by applelover1990
5. No you don't need a battery; you get a power cord. When you plug it into a socket it charges and it lasts days!
