VERY easy set up. I personally use with voice commands through Alexa app. Works perfectly. (Other non-Alexa options are available. See their enclosed instruction paperwork). Convenience is major reason for this purchase. I use it as outlet for my bedside table. Quick command turns light on for getting up for bathroom visits or to grab medication at night. No fumbling. (Obviously not on a scheduled on/off for my purpose). Highly recommend.

these plugs work great. super simple to set up. alexa basically did it for me. i got it for my fan in the bedroom bc sometimes its a little chilly in the morning. now i dont have to get out of bed and its freezing. i just say (you can name each plug in the alexa app) "alexa, turn off the fan" and im not longer cold. the perfect solution to my problem. i did try to use it with my space heater. as thats cheaper to run in the winter than my heat. but i found the plug got pretty warm/hot. and that made me worried. so i didnt use it after the first day unattended.
