We always lose power after a hurricane, alternative power overcomes worries about refrigeration and food spoiling. The generator powers cooking and cleaning equipment, without it life would be miserable.

Living in Florida we are susceptible to hurricanes and power outages. My previous Generator was purchased in the 1990's and now it was time to replace it. I saw the Firman product listed and decided to do some research. Firman may be new to some of you as it was to me, but trust me, this is a major company that makes Industrial power equipment and sells it around the world. I purchased the 5700 watt unit and had it delivered. I put it in a corner of our garage and forgot about it........6 weeks later we were in the middle of Hurricane Irma, and our power was out.. This was the first time I gassed up the generator, following the directions, the generator ran on the first pull!!! I realized then that I had a real quality unit, my generator had been manufactured 1/2 around the world, and now 7-8 months later it started on the first pull. We used the generator for 3 solid days to run almost everything in our home. The generator ran smooth, quiet, and never failed. It's designed to use as little fuel as possible and it did. How good is it, it's good enough that my son purchased one now in Coral Springs Florida. We are all ready for the hurricane season. This generator has a large fuel capacity, 120/240VAC capacity, highly recommend it.
