when i was thinking of buying it i thought it was exessive and should get a smaller one but i decided to go right in and get it as soon as i held it i knew i was wrong it fit well in my pocket and was not that heavy i use it everyday great for collectors and for usage it is the usual amazing Victorinox quality my only complaint is the cheap packaging otherwise five stars

I purchased the Champ because I wanted the convenience of using some of the extra blades it had over the officer model that I already had. I've had a swiss army knife for many years now, the first was a birthday present which I'd had for a long time, and after having mislaid it and feeling the loss every time I went to use it, I purchased the officer model. I use it most days for something and feel naked should I forget to pick it up when I change clothes. The knife I mislaid, turned up when I wore a blazer that I hadn't used for a while, I was surprised to find that I couldn't open any of the blades with my nails, and had to use a pair of pliers to pull out the knife blade. I tried to contact Victorinox repair service, but as yet have had no success, the address in the UK I contacted did not reply, I eventually got an email from Germany which I replied to but they have since gone quiet. However I am delighted with my new Champ and one day I will get my first knife serviced, so I will have a knife in several places and won't run the risk of feeling naked without one.
