This product is extremely powerful and easy to use! Combine it with Audacity and it is a true power house for a hand-held device. I have not seen anything like it for this price. Wal-mart.com has the lowest price anywhere and as far as I know it is the same product which includes Cubase LE 4. I love how easy it is to upload direct to drive. It takes less than 10 seconds to upload a 2 hour file to my hard drive. Nice!

I was excited about buying and using the H4N but although I've made some recordings on it I can't do anything with them because I can't get the software to work on my laptop which won't recognize the drivers. This is the perfect storm of the downside to using third parties: Downloading the licensing software was a pain and trying to figure who? Stienberg? Yamaha? Zoom? Samson Tech? is supporting you is tricky. I spent a lot of time trying to get support from various support areas and I've given up. It's WAY too time consuming. I'd send it back if I could be bothered. So unless you have a LOT of time on your hands give this a miss. Hopefully someone will tell Zoom to ship the product with software and licenses keys in the box so it's plug and play. Not everyone has nothing to do but read manuals and resolve service issues.
