The Zebco micro 33 underspin is the best underspin for price and reliability for pan fish, crappie, smaller bass, and smaller catfish. I've caught 8 lb catfish with a 6 lb crappie line with a 10 foot crappie pole using the Zebco micro 33 underspin. I have several of them in various colors and from several years back that I keep in excellent condition. I've seen people write bad reviews about this and the regular micro 33 because they get it and say it's too small because they were expecting something the size of a regular 33. Reading should be a required trait before you purchase online. This reel is clearly listed as a micro. As such, I have many thousands of hours on these and other underspins, all of which work perfectly well, but I always gravitate back to the Zebco 33 micro underspin. It is pretty much the same design as the Zebco 11 underspin. It takes the stress of continued times of putting stress on the line to shoot your bait into those hard to reach places like under a dock where a normal cast can't reach. This is also a good reel to start children on is you want to get them on spinning reels, without the hastle, until they have the dexterity to use a spinning reel without assistance.
