Relax and unwind with Yoga Bunny!
It's a perfect day for yoga, and Bunny is practicing his poses and wishes his friends would do yoga with him! But Lizard is too tired, Fox is in a rush, and Bird has the hiccups. Will Bunny ever be able to get his friends to slow down and realize that yoga just might be the solution to their problems?
Akin to I Am Yoga by Susan Verde, Yoga Frog by Nora Carpenter, and Good Night Yoga by Mariam Gates, Yoga Bunny helps readers wind down as they learn beginning yoga poses, from downward dog to tree pose. Brilliant author-illustrator Brian Russo shows readers just how relaxing yoga can be.

Bunny loves to practic...
Bunny loves to practice his yoga poses, and wishes that his friends would join him. Unfortunately, Lizard is too grumpy, Fox too rushed, and bird too preoccupied with his hiccups. But when two birds begin to copy Bunny, creating a group, our leporine hero's friends eventually come around, joining the yoga circle one by one. This debut picture-book from yoga teacher and artist Brian Russo is a sweet look, not just at the practice yoga, but at the rewards of taking the time to join our friends in their pursuits. I liked that Bunny, although hurt by his friends' initial rejection, carried on with his yoga regardless, and that the yoga itself served to calm and encourage him, after each setback. The artwork, done in colored pencil and watercolor, is absolutely adorable. I particularly liked the decorative end-papers, which show Bunny in a variety of yoga poses. Recommended to anyone looking for children's stories featuring yoga, friendship, or pursuing one's passions.
