21" snowblower
This snowblower was shipped to my house and came in great shape. It took me about 10 minutes to put on snow chute, bolt handle together and add oil. It stated after priming and chocking after about 6 pulls of the cord. I've only had the chance to use it once so far in 4 inches of snow. It made quick work of my driveway compared to the shoveling I had been doing. Two thumbs up so far.

loud and hard to start
This snow blower is hard to start and once its starts it takes a while to get it to stay running. Very loud. But it does serve the purpose and gets the job done. however I would not recommend this product.

Awesome snowblower for a great price

This gas powered snowblower exceeded my expectations. It cleared my 6 cars length driveway in the matter of only 20 minutes with a snow depth of about 15 inches. It has done amazing well with both white powder-like snow and the heavy "wet" snow. Very impressed. Tank only hold about 1/4 of a gallon of gasoline and takes a long time to run it out. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed!

Perfection

Just got this awesome machine out of the box and started on the snow that added up to about five inches. It worked perfectly. Did my driveway in ten minutes. Then did all the neighbors driveways and all total it took one hour. This machine is more than awesome. I highly recommend.

We love this snow blower!

We bought this snow blower after doing a comparison of single-stage gas snow blowers on the internet, finding that the price at Walmart was substantially lower than the prices at Home Depot and Lowe's for the same item. The snow blower is easy to start, easy to handle, was very efficient at snow removal and - the best part of all for the kids - threw the snow about 3 feet to the side, both clearing the sidewalk/driveway and creating a pile of snow from which the kids could make a snowman. Great product, great price, easy pick-up.

Great first snow blower for first timer.

When the box arrived it was placed sideways, that made me a little upset. When I opened the box I noticed that a side of the machines was cracked. (the plastic case) That really made me mad and I decided to call in and complain to Walmart customer service. Fortunately, for them it was snowing the next day and I started using the machine and forgot to call. To make the long story short, the machine was working perfect. We only had about 3 in of snow and we have medium size parking. I was surprised at the distance it was shooting the snow. My only complain is that the initial start up was a bit rough. I was afraid to flood the engine and pressing only 25 times to prime it, was annoying. Once it started it was running great. It did stall couple of times but it started right away. I hope this review helps. Best wishes and remember wear safety goggles just in case. H

Low-Priced Workhorse

I have an electric one, but this one is far superior for typical moderate to severe midwest snow storms as long as you're not trying to clear snow more than 13 inches deep. Assembly is perhaps 20 minutes (a small crescent wrench or pliers will be required) and it's a 4-cycle engine, so there's no mixing the oil with the gasoline. There are no frills such as electric start, self-propelling drive, handle-based chute adjustment, nor headlight, but that keeps the price down. It appears to be quite solidly built and I'm pleased with the purchase; however, if you don't drain the gas tank come Springtime, then the carburetor will certainly gum up and you'll complain about it later, perhaps even blaming the product itself. Meanwhile, it's a reliable workhorse that clears the snow in a hurry and hurls it away effectively.

1. I had to prime it at least 25 times in one shot. Remember to put it on choke and pull the cord all the way. Once started then move it to RUN. You don't have to hold the handle but if you do make sure no one is standing close it. Also remember this is a light duty blower, any thing more than 5 or 6 inches accumulation it may stall. Take our time when removing the snow, I found it very helpful if you move slower and make sure wear goggles as wind sometimes shift.

2. It could be a number of things why it won't start, First was the old gas left in the machine over the summer months? If so, the carberator may be gumed up or maybe it needs a new spark plug. If your not handy take it to a authorize dealer to overhaul the machine.

3. Mine started up pretty much right away... 4-5 pulls. They want you to turn the choke ON when starting it. The choke control is in front of your shins when you're standing at it as though operating it, and it's a red lever that moves left and right. Move it all the way to the right to engage the choke. Once it is running, move the choke control slowly back to the left. In addition, make sure that one of the red plastic keys is inserted into the keyhole down by your right knee when you're standing behind it as though operating it or it will never start no matter what.

4. Try staring it in the Run position (choke on the left side not all the way to the right) that's when it started for us
by 30thStreet
5. I had the same problem but you should tilt it off the ground a little. Its a weird technique but that's the only way to get it started. You hold down the start lever at the top and lower it to get the blade off the ground and then pull the start rope a couple times. But make sure you have the red lever at the bottom in between run and choke. Make sure its in the middle, then pull. Once it starts push the red lever fully to run.

1. No, but it is fairly easy to move around in flat surface areas. In an incline or slop more than 30 deg a self propelled may be good idea.
by noorah97
2. It is not self propelled
by 30thStreet
3. no

4. no its not
by redtruck63
5. It is not self-propelled, but is relatively light weight and not too hard to push. When the auger is activated it helps pull it through the snow.

6. All two Stages Snow Blowers are self Propelled

1. I would recommend you call your local store before you visit them. We were getting a lot of snow predictions and two stores I called they were out. Also, remember you can also order it and pick up from the store. This way the sales associated can also help you better understand your machine.
by noorah97
2. I ordered it online and had it shipped to the store
by 30thStreet
3. You have to order it and it gets delivered to the dot.com customer service at walmart for pick up or to your home. Make sure you have a vehicle with a large trunk space because its really squared shape and can't be angled any kind of way except you have a large space in the trunk that's if you are picking it up.
by Jackuelele
4. Walmart sells alot of these machines, its best to buy online.
by BigShopper00
5. I would be surprised if you would find one in stock right now due the excessive amount of snow we have had and have a rush of people buying them. I bought mine on line and it was delivered to my house with no shipping charges in a timely manner.
