Works Great
I have been wanting a blood pressure monitor for some time now and was excited to find this one. I opened it and put in batteries and it started right up. Took a little time to figure out how this went on the wrist and how to use it, but once I got that it was a snap. It will give you both numbers for your blood pressure and your heart rate. You do need to have batteries when you buy it and have them ready if you want to use it. The instructions do tell you to put it on your right wrist with the display on the underside of the wrist and to hold your hand up close to your heart. I wish the display was in a different position, so you can watch the display while it is doing its thing. The only other thing I would like this unit to have is a wrist strap that was for bigger wrists. I have large wrists and a bigger cuff would be nice. I like the big numbers on the display and the ease of use. If you are looking for a nice little blood pressure monitor I would say pick one up.

A liitle off...
I received my Wrist Blood Pressure Cuff from the Spark Reviewer Program. My husband and i both check our bp every day. We both found this wrist monitor very easy to use. Love the fact that it is so compact, which would make it simple to take on trips. Also, you will need 2 AAA batteries. When we started using the wrist monitor we were both getting readings between 10-15 points lower than our upper arm monitor. (for systolic and diastolic). And about 5-10 points lower for our pulse. We would check it at least 3 times (back to back), just for consistency reasons. My husband and i both check our bp every day. We've been using an upper arm digital bp monitor for a few months now. We both see our Dr. regularly so we do have an idea where our numbers should be. I don't think I could recommend this wrist blood pressure monitor. Maybe as a back up monitor because these do seem to be a lot less expensive than upper arm monitors, but when it comes to your health I think you should spend the extra money to buy something with absolute accuracy.

VERY USEFUL AT HOME OR AWAY.

I really like that this portable gadget is so easy for everyone to use. The readout is so large that even without glasses on i can see it. It gives me a very quick readout and has a "memory" button to show the past readings. I also took my daughters BP and she was also impressed with it. Comes in a handy storage case and the wrist strap has a picture on it of how to use it properly. I think this would be very helpful for someone who has to monitor their high BP if they are stressed at work -could be a life saver!

Nice little portable blood pressure cuff!

I received this item as a sample for review. The item came with its own plastic case. It takes AAA batteries. It's easy to strap on the wrist. Then just push a simple button and it will take your blood pressure. A few tips I've learned. You need to raise the wrist/bp machine to same level as your heart. Also, don't keep repeated taking the blood pressure as it will cause the blood pressure to go higher and higher. It's recommended to rest 10 to 15 minutes between measurement. Otherwise, this machine is small, light, and very portable. I would recommend it for anyone who is in need to monitor their blood pressure.

Nice, uncomplicated blood pressure monitor

This straightforward blood pressure wrist cuff has so far worked exactly as it should. The wrist cuff comes with a small storage case, in which the machine fits perfectly inside, and requires only two AAA batteries. I personally don't think you need a case for it, since it will fit into my bag more readily without it, but regardless, the cuff with or without the case is small and very light in weight. The cuff holds to your wrist making it simple to wrap it the rest of the way around your wrist with an easy on, easy off Velcro closure. As you can see from the pictures, the monitor shows everything you need to know about where you are with your blood pressure, diastolic, systolic and heart rates, easily readable in large digital form.

A Great Blood Pressure Monitor

I have the Automatic Wrist Watch Blood Pressure Monitor that will monitor your pulse, your diastolic, and your systolic pressure. This monitor requires two “AAA” batteries, that are not included, and comes with a plastic case. This first thing I noticed is that the plastic case is barely large enough to hold the monitor. And for this reason, it is a hassle to put the monitor into the case. Luckily, the case is not needed so that isn't a big deal. The monitor features a one button automatic operation. There is a clear 1.8” LCD display that shows your readings. The ranges read are 0-280mmHG for blood pressure and 40-199/minute for pulse. There is a three percent deviation for blood pressure and a five percent deviation for pulse. The circumference of the cuff is 135-195mm. I liked the fact that when the monitor is not in use, it will power off automatically. That's a neat feature as I frequently forget to turn it off. Another really cool feature about this monitor is that it will store up to sixty records of readings in order. I would recommend this monitor to anyone needing to track their blood pressure or pulse. It's easy and comfortable to operate.

1. Yes you can use it on different people but, you might want to keep track of the blood pressure readings separately on a piece of paper or notebook as this doesn't keep track of the dates or times but does have a 90 memory.
