I will always buy these pants
These cargo pants are seriously the only pants my son will wear. The have a great fit, the material is durable and they hold up wash after wash. The black color of his pants has not faded, even after a year of wear. I hope the never stop selling them.

Good pants ruined by poor re-design of pocket area!
I have been wearing these (70LEWGL) cargo pants for years - they're my favorite pants. Or they WERE until someone decided to re-design the front pocket area! Now these dark camo pants are ruined by an over-exposed white pocket area that used to be recessed into the front pocket by more than an inch. Now the fabric overlap is barely 1/2 an inch. PLEASE REVERT BACK TO THE ORIGINAL DESIGN - PLEASE!!!

Thank God these were re-stocked or brought back!!!!!

My hubby has worn these for work for years!!! Until...... they either were out of stock for months on end or they were going to discontinue until all the negative feedback was received. Either way we are THRILLED that they are in stock again!!! We tried other pants that were close to these but they just didn't cut it!! We could not be happier to see these again!!!! Thanks Wrangler!!!!

I would have bought more

These are my husbands favorite style of pants and I can't find his size in store. I would have bought more but you only offered them in the one color. Even though he could use a shorter size(you don't offer it in his size of 46 waist 29 length) he loves the style for work and weekends.

Good work pants for industrial enviroment

I use these at work as an equipment operator at a nuclear power plant. The open top pocket on the left leg is perfectly sized for the wireless phones that we use in the plants. Black does hide grease a bit better than the tan ones, however I do find that my fluffy white cat is attracted more to these pants than my other ones. Cargo pockets have pleats, so they will fit more than just something flat. 2 "extra" belt loops help quite a bit with extra equipment on the belt (pager, radio, keys, multi-tool, etc). Pants look best if taken out of the dryer warm and not too dry (use the energy efficiency setting) and then hung, or pressed; they are a bit prone to getting wrinkled if allowed to cool and dry in a pile. After a wash or two, leg pockets will not be flat unless they are pressed.

Great pair of comfortable cargo pants...

I ordered these pants in black and camo for work. I have worn the camos daily for a year and just now they are beginning to wear thin and fray. Tried on the black pants and it's the same comfortable fit as the camo pair. Very pleased with purchase and I would recommend.

Good sturdy pants

Bought these for my husband to replace worn-out pants of the same style. He wears them daily at work on the farm and they hold up very well. The pants are well-contructed (both funtionally with the pockets and sewn well) and he wears either these pants or the same style rip-stop pants every day. Great pants for a great price!

Good pants but waistline size has changed.

Waistline and length of pants have changed. I just to buy 38 waistline now it's 40. I didn't get fatter. I measured the waistline of both sizes (both 38 waistline) and the newer pants are smaller. See the pictures. I tried Dickies cargo and they are small too.

Where is the Legacy?

I've worn Wrangler cotton twill cargos for a very long time. I remember when the material was thicker, there were two tech pockets, and white of the front pockets didn't show. There were also a lot more color choices. Sadly, my favorite color is no longer available and the fabric is thin. I'll keep buying them as long as they make them, but they are not what they used to be.

Disappointed in a Once Great Product

This slack has been a staple of my husband and sons for years. In recent purchases of the same slack (RN # 130273) I have had complaints from husband/sons that legs are too tight and the crotch rides up and is uncomfortable. Made a purchase yesterday thinking it was the slacks being made in Kenya which may have been the problem as we have some made in Nicaragua, Mexico, possibly Vietnam and now Kenya). They do not fit the same -- they are not as relaxed as they look on the label or in the pictures. Please go back to the original slacks so my men can be comfortable or I'll have to try and find something else that fits better or maybe go up a size or two.

1. typically, waist before length
by yNNEL
2. Waist measurement comes before the length measurement in men's trousers
by bugundy
3. waist
by An anonymous customer
4. Yes, I do believe waist measurement is the most important, especially when people today don't seem to be worried if pants are a bit long. I wouldn't choose a length that's too short however.
by MzDaisy
5. Waist size is ALWAYS listed first!
by TheDrumMajor
6. Yes. Waist before length.
by ranchswade
7. The waist comes frist

8. The waist size always comes first

9. waist first then length
by mommyof4beautys
10. But the product description says: Product in Inches (L x W x H): 34.0 x 19.0 x 1.0 . For the options of the pants, if you are to follow the waist first, the lenght goes only to 30" - for very very very very very short men?? Therefore, I think as per the product description, the lenght comes first - for the options, the lenght goes up to 42" which seems to be pretty normal lenght for a man.

1. Get the 32" waist as they are sometimes smaller than the stated waist size. 30" will be tight.
by bugundy
2. The size is right on...go with whichever you feel you should. If you tend to gain a bit of weight in the winter, I'd go with the 32. (quoted from my hubby)
by MzDaisy
3. Get a 32. A 31 will be too small, plus you have to allow for slight shrinkage.
by TheDrumMajor
4. I always go a size up
by Star666
5. 32
by SEPF
6. I would try 30 as they seem pretty loose to me. If that ends up being too small, return them.
by Bighik
7. no they fit very true to fit
by burkex1
8. i say 32 in case of shrinking!
by mommyof4beautys
9. 32

10. better to be too large than too small.

1. They're kind of medium weight but toward the thinner. I would wear them in the summer.

3. Yes. I wear them in Afghanistan and they are very comfortable.
by Shotbaker
4. They're not super-thick, but I probably wouldn't wear them above 80 degrees, that's shorts weather anyway. The rip-stop ones are thinner and made of more breathable material.
by 66polara
5. My husband wears these in the winter but they would be comfortable in the warmer weather. He is allowed to wear shorts in the summer to work so we buy these same pants in shorts for summer.
by kiasophia
6. some are, and then some aren't. the black, brown and tan are a bit thicker material than the others
by idealred
7. yes very nice
