What a great value!
My husband was a die hard user of Polo Ralph Lauren slacks for years! Then the company made changes to the sizing. He couldn't wear them any longer. So, it took a couple of years but by chance he found the Wrangler slacks at Walmart and decided to purchase two pairs knowing that if he was dissatisfied or they didn't fit, he could return them. Well, surprise, they fit very well. Some stretch in the waist and the 32 length is plenty long. They look very stylish like the Polo slacks and guess what? The price is about $80.00 a pair less in cost!!! He has purchased 4 more pair and is just as happy with this latest purchase as with the first purchase! The fabric is slightly thinner and we don't put them in the dryer so they will be slightly wrinkled when dry. Plus Walmart charges very little for shipping and shipping is usually very prompt! He is very happy!

Get fit for expanding waste lines but color fades just after a few (6-8) washes in cold water wash. Seams faded faster and around pockets. For a pant in a pinch, great buy. But long lasting, not a good buy.

For the price, simply fantastic.

I found this pants to be a real bargain, highly impressed. Not a heavy fabric, but who wants that in the warmer months? Nice feel to the fabric, nice and smooth, more of a dress pant texture. Fit was right on, I'm a 40-32. The waist band is very comfortable, they are "classic" style, not balloon legs or baggy in the rear, do not have the crease in the leg, great move Wrangler, as this is the first place any pants made by anyone tends to color fade first. Laundered nicely and came out the dryer ready to wear. I've only washed and dried them twice, still no wrinkles. With $0.97 shipping, I bought 1 pair to try, loved them and bought 4 more. For a little over 20 bucks each, including shipping, a great deal. Everyone always seems to add this comment to reviews, so I will as well. It would be nice if Wrangler offered these in additional colors such as, navy, green and a much darker brown.

Bulletproof!

I am required to wear khaki slacks for my job. Though it should be jeans I wear due to the abuse the pants get. Let me tell 'ya....for 20 bucks you won't find a better wearing pair of slacks anywhere! At day's end, I can go anywhere in them as they hold their shape and look good too. The flex waistband is fantastic for bending, lifting, and those days when I just need a little more room. This is the 2nd lot I've purchased. That is why I answered Over A Year to the How Long question. I just hope that by spreading the word about these slacks, the price won't go up! An exceptionally good buy in my book!

I went to the store and asked a clerk to get the pants ordered for me. She scanned the order number and told me it would take 3 weeks to get the pants in the store. I ordered the pants online and it took me 4 days to get them at my house. I went back to the store 3 weeks later and the pants still were not there. That is crazy!!! I will order online from here on out.

These are the only work/causual pants I buy

I wear these for work ( carpenter) and casual. I buy them because there is some stretching for the waist and because the rise is higher than most other pants that I have worn in the past . On this purchase I bought the black pants. I have to agree with some other reviewers that there not as black as my suit pants. Compared to the suit pants there seems to be some blue tint to them. I'm ok with that however if your looking for a deep black color you might want to consider another selection. That issue aside I feel these are very good pants.

casual pants

I bought these for my husband. He has had other pairs very similar. The flex waist makes them very comfortable. They fit true to size. They look real good on, stay pretty wrinkle free, and can go to a casual dressy look with a nice shirt, or are also great for work pants around the house. Good price. Shipping was very quick. I recommend these Wrangler pants.

I'm buying more.

If you're shopping for pants at wal-mart, then you know these won't be designer style and quality pants. That being said, they've exceeded my expectations. I would call the fabric in between high end Dockers and Dickies. They should be extremely durable without taking 20 washes to break in like Dickies. They also have a tougher fabric in the pockets so I won't wear holes in them hopefully. They are a pretty relaxed fit. I've had looser, but I've certainly had much tighter "relaxed" fit. The hidden stretch waistband works fabulously. I really don't need the stretch waist-band, as I am smart enough to order a size bigger if I needed it, but the stretch waist band makes the pants more relaxed through the thighs. My only complaint would be that I have to order these online as either everyone on the planet is a 38x34 too, or the store doesn't think we exist as they never have that size in anything.

Great quality but a bit tight

I ordered these pants using in the same size I use for my jeans and other pants I've ordered from Wrangler in the past. In this order I also purchased 2-pair of the Performance Series Chino Pants in the same size - those fit perfect. I called customer service and they walked me through the exchange process.

Advanced Comfort Casual Pants

Ordered the same size I had a couple of years ago which still fit good and are comfortable but starting to show the wear. These new pants, considering they were the same size, are way too tight. The elastic did not seem to stretch. Washed in cold water only, they seemed to shrink a bit. Since I had washed them and took the tags off, no returns allowed. Pants are a bit too tight. Probably should have gone to a store and tried on prior to buying rather than rely on printed sizing.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry the sizing of the garment did not meet your needs. Unfortunately, you are correct we can't except garments that have been washed. Please keep in mind that we do offer a 60-day exchange policy and we will pay for the shipping for the garments to come back as well as for the shipping on the new order. If you have any questions, please contact us at 888-784-8571.

Sized wrong

I ordered these pants in a 42x32 size. That's what the tag on the pants says, but that's not what the actual size they are. They are at least a 42x36. They are so long I couldn't walk without stepping on them, and so my wife had to hem them up. If I had bought them from my local store, I would have returned them, but as it was, I ordered them on line, which was a big mistake. From now on, I'll buy my clothes where I can try them on, or at least return them with out a hassle. One more thing, it wouldn't be fair to submit this without adding that after my wife hemmed the pants they fit fine, and very comfortable to wear.

1. wrinkle resistant
by Pyzo
2. Resistant, but not full no-iron.
by JBeaux
3. If you wash them, they need to be pressed -- unless you are into that scruffy, unkempt, too-cool-to-worry-about-creases thing.
by RRBS1952
4. Not wrinkle-resistant or no-iron.
by qwerty123456asdfgh
5. I do not iron these pants. They come out of the dryer wrinkle-free. If you want a military sharp crease down the front, then I suppose they would require touch-up with an iron. However, they look very good with no ironing, just out of the dryer. (I do remove them from the dryer as soon as the dryer shuts off)
by now2Bretired
6. If you talking about out the dryer, I found them to be. Last years style didn't seem to be so much wrinkle resistant, more like a bumpy texture after drying. This current style has been wrinkle free and without the "bumpy" texture after drying, so far. I've yet to find any casual pant at any price that did not wrinkle after sitting in them and these are no worse or better. I am comparing these to last years style only. The weave of the fabric is definitely different this year, and it's a plus.

7. If you're wearing them as work slacks, just take 'em out of the dryer, clamp them into a hanger, and you're good to go. If you're going to wear 'em for semi formal, you may want to press them off a bit. I don't know if putting an iron to them will "kill" the wrinkle resistance though. Never did it.
by nuzzi
8. These are wrinkle-resistant, but the crease doesn't hold, so if you buy them, get out the iron!
by KentuckyTourGuy
9. Arrived badly wrinkled
by Binged
10. They wash and dry well. No wrinkles.
by Rumpus
11. I wear them right out of the dryer. any wrinkles fall right out

1. Seems to have elastic, but not gathered. It works well.
by RRBS1952
2. The inserts are not seen but are as you say, inside the waist band itself.
by Hook716
3. No; the flex waistband.
by JRR70
4. No. It's integrated throughout the waist so it's totally unnoticeable
by DeMan001
5. No -- the fabric is woven with a little bit of Lycra sothere is some give & stretch to the fabric without any elastic inserts.
by ScottsdaleSteve
6. Yes, you can't see the elastic. Fits very nice on the hips
by An anonymous customer
7. Nothing visible. The waistband does stretch a little, but it all looks the same.
by Lovethestache
8. Not the kind typically on elastic waist pant. The stretch is build into the flat waistband.
by Rumpus
9. Not like the pants they used to have. They do say they will expand up to two inches. But it doesn't have to expandable elastic like the older ones had/have.

1. YES!!!
by preachermanic
2. They do fade a little with each wash. I think that is the case with most black pants. For the price though I am thinking I could get dye for materials and just dye them in a few months...
by jisaac531
3. If you wash them constantly, the black pants will fade. If you have them dry cleaned, they don't fade much at all.
by RRBS1952
4. I think is depends on how you clean them. I live in Ariona where the sun is brutal on dark colors but I dry clean mine & the color always looks dark. But I like the brown ones best as opposed to the black ones. Dry clean or use cold water to preserve colors.
by ScottsdaleSteve
5. We ordered them in black and tan and they both have 3 belt loops in the back.
by Pattimae
6. I have washed these about 10 times so far and no noticable fading. I really love these pants so far!
by An anonymous customer
7. I think all black pants fade over time. These hold up pretty well. Just wash them inside out.
by Rumpus
8. these pants stay blacker longer than most. I can only get 1 wear out of a washing but they hold up quite nicely.
by Blacksedan47
9. they will start fading after several months but I wear them every day so they do get a lot of washing.
