This was one of my absolute favorite bras until the color leaked on my skin after a few washes. It literally took me 30 minutes to scrub the dye off of my back and under my boobs. It was very sticky and hard to scrub off. I had to use makeup remover, alcohol, and soap. I am going to order the bra in a nude color this time and hopefully I will not have the same issue.
I bought these about 2 months ago. After a few washings I noticed lumps showing up. Small lumps.. irritating lumps. Lumps that showed through some shirts. When I cut the fabric to see what it was.. little lumps of a rubber type material came out. Great... now I have small cuts in my bra and a pile of little rubber things that shouldn't be in any bra!
Have been wearing these for over 20 yrs. Over the past year I have noticed that the hooks are twisted after one wear and the latest one I purchased - the strap was attached backwards! I am SO disappointed. These are not cheap bras and the quality has really gone downhill over the past year.

The strap narrows with increased weight and in just 3 hours starts to cut on the skin by friction of stretched edges. The bigger the cup size the wider it should be the strap over the shoulder at main load points. I'm 36 D or DD & maybe there could be a redesign of the bra where the strap is wider at cups sizes above C or there could be additional straps for purchase to be adapted over existing design.
This is my favorite bra. I acknowledge I have to lose weight but in the meantime I appreciate the way my playtex provides support. Thank you.
I am a 44DD. Have owned this bra over a year. Still feels good and supports. Am ordering another. comfortable. Love Playtex 18 hrs and have worn for over 20 years but the really good support has the "rubbery" support sides which starts to deteriorate after a year or so and becomes sticky. Those are hard to find and so I have started using different styles and have been happy with this one.
This bra has some serious design flaws. It is not made with a woman's comfort in mind. I had such high hopes. The straps are too wide & it is very hard to conceal with cold shoulder tops. The band does is very restrictive & feels like a medieval torture device; while the cups make my "girls" look like a pair of torpedoes. Lastly, you can't wear tops that are scoop necked or a with plunging neckline -too much material. I actually had to make my own alterations widening the V of said bra. Ladies take heed.
I have been wearing this style for several years now and am very pleased. For years I would wear nothing but underwire styles because I thought that was the only way to get sufficient support for my ample bosom. This bra does the job and no pokey wires! I am ordering more today because you are running a tremendous sale along with free shipping!
I have only one observation; I have this same bra in size 38-G in white, beige, toffee and black. Maybe it's just my imagination, but the black one seems to give a little firmer support. Is it just me or is there something about the black fabric that makes it a little firmer?
Also, I have lost some weight lately and am now wearing my 38-G on the tightest hook. I'm afraid if I lose any more weight, I will need to go to a size 36 and you do not make this style in size 36-G. (It has been my past experience that my cup size does not change even when I gain or lose weight.) I would be so pleased if you would consider adding this size, even if only in 1 or 2 colors.
I have worn Playtex 18 hour bras for years and mistakenly ordered this one, thinking it was a different style (it is similar to one I purchased regularly). I don't know if the problem is due to the extended width of the shoulder strap, but the sides of the bra coming up under my arms are cut too close to the underarm area and cut into it. I loosened the strap adjustments and that helped some, but it is still very high cut on the sides. The cups are also "taller" and although there is great support without wires, it feels extremely tight at times. I have worn my other styles to compare, and this one is one I would not buy again. It is beautifully made, lovely design, but just not what feels right. If you do not want a bra cutting into your underarm area, then forget this one.
The bra I find most comfortable is Playtex 18 Hour Comfort Lace Wirefree Bra Style: 18367
and I have never found this a problem in fit. Another one which fits well is Playtex 18 Hour Ultimate Lift & Support Wirefree Bra
