I bought a total of THREE 3-packs of these bras online after buying a few in the store. I know that seems like a lot, but I don't do laundry as often as I should. I have a horrendous back log right now. Ha! ANYWAY, I bought the bras for the express purpose of lounging decently in an upcoming setting. Let me explain. I will be moving into a house with both a male and female housemate soon. Until now, I have been living alone for quite some time, and I don't feel that most of my pj shirts are appropriate enough to be seen in by most others. The majority of them are VERY thin. I like soft, worn, thin shirts for comfort. Maybe I'm too old fashioned being concerned about the whole issue, but these bras will give me the peace of mind I want anyway when I'm around my housemates. I've tried the bras out already, just to "practice" at night, and they are SO great. I'm normally a 40D, but maybe VERY VERY SLIGHTLY on the small side of that size, so I got them all in size 40. I must tell the truth -- they do provide support, but it's not the type of support I mind, and it's the kind I'd want if I were to come running down the stairs in the house (I can be kind of weird with bras. I don't find support uncomfortable. I find a sense of security in it. If you never ever plan to even do the lightest bit of exercise in one of these bras, and you happen to find yourself in a random unlikely situation like mine, you may want to order one size up). I don't know how one bra can be so versatile. For as many hours as I wear it, the amount of support it provides doesn't seem to become uncomfortable. I don't do high impact activity in them, so I don't know how they would stand up to that, but I do feel very "stable" in them. At the same time, I feel completely unrestricted, and at times, I have even forgotten I was wearing one of the bras, and I fell right asleep in it, and stayed asleep in it all night long. I know once I have housemates I can also choose to take it off at night once I'm in my room, of course, until the morning again. I do that now too of course, when I'm having a "practice night", and am not too tired to remember. The last thing I want to add is that I would have to guess this would make a good exercise bra, too. I've run around my townhouse in it, including up and down the stairs. It HAS provided good support for ME, at least. (*I may or may not have mentioned before that I don't have experience with high impact aerobics, and other very intense activities that would require the UTMOST support from a bra. That being said, I am so sorry to say that I cannot speak to whether or not this bra would be a good choice for those purposes.) I just know this bra is PERFECT for what I wanted it for. I couldn't be happier.
