I have a small (6.5), wide (EE) foot and have had shoe issues my entire life. I am so thankful for Softspots because I can finally have fashionable shoes that really fit! This is a super cute flat and so comfortable. I have found that I need a WW if it is a high heel or if the style of the shoe has a more narrow toe bed. If the toe bed is boxy, I can wear just a W. This is more narrow toe bed so I went with a WW and it is just right.Another problem with WW shoes can be that the overall fit of the shoe is more for an all-over "thick" foot, whereas I just have a EE width foot with a regular "thin" heel/arch area. This shoe is a little wider in the heel/arch area than I would prefer but it does not require any inserts to make it stay on my foot. With other shoes I've tried, the width fits but they slip off my heel because of the extra width at the heel. Not this shoe though. The Softspots foot bed is another reason to love this brand. These shoes last for YEARS. And that's with me wearing them a lot because I have so few pairs of shoes because of my hard-to-fit foot.
About This Item
This shoe is great for walking and casual comfort. It looks dressy enough to wear with casual business clothes; yet, it is comfortable enough to wear with casual attire. Thank you for creating a shoe that is built to endure a lot of action and last for more than a season. Yet, it doesn't sacrifice a feminine look to achieve that versatility, stability, and durability.
As noted by most reviewers the shoe tends to run small. I usually wear a 6.5 WW so I tried that first then had to turn around and exchange for 7WW. The fit was excellent, the blue suede is beautiful. I wore them feeling secure that I would have no discomfort after a long night out and I am glad I purchased them!
Super soft, but still had some issues
These shoes overall are very comfortable, but I had to give it 4 stars rather than 5 for a few reasons. I loved the style, and the footbed is amazingly comfortable. However, I wish these shoes were truly flat. The 1 inch heel still bothers my feet. I see that none of their shoes are really flat, except their not-so-attractive sandals. To be fair, I do have a number of foot issues (one bunion, one foot post-bunion surgery, wide feet, flat-ish feet, and probably plantar fasciitis and heel spurs). I did order the shoes in wide and they fit great in the front, but the heel seemed a bit wide and larger than the true size, which is another problem. It does slip a bit in the back. But I felt that ordering a smaller size would have been too small.
