My feet are a mess. Had I known that I would have arthritis, I would have avoided marathons. I can't fit in anything anymore. Until I found these wonderful shoes. I decided to take 1/2 size bigger, now that my feet have changed shapes and chose the wide W (D) to allow room for my bunions. It feels so nice. No more suffering. Thanks Shoes.com for your reasonable prices. So much cheaper than the rest (even with exchange rates).

Just what I needed
I hate to say this but I really don't like these shoes much even though they're exactly what I needed. Let me explain. I had a stroke which left one side paralyzed to various degrees. I have to use aids to walk. My physical therapist recommended an ankle brace to help keep my ankle from trying to roll outward when I walk. Therefore I needed a more substantial shoe for the brace. The prosthetic tech was very pleased when he saw these shoes. They work just fine with the brace. They're comfortable and with the Velcro closure I can put them on without help. Since I live alone that's extremely important. I can't say they're the most stylish shoes I ever owned, but I'm pleased with them for the need I have.
Great for AFO braces!
I am an amputee with a drop foot and severe nerve damage. I wear an afo (ankle foot orthotic) for my remaining foot. My husband bought these without my seeing them and HE IS THE BEST FOR THAT!!! Shoe is great... lightweight, easy to put on and take off, and helpful with my balance issues when walking. I think they're cute as far as the type of orthopedic shoes I need. Buying two more pair now, as my dog chewed one shoe today out of nowhere.
I would buy this shoe again. But I have a wide foot, with such a narrow heel that in order to keep my heel in the shoe as I walk, I have to make the strap across the top as tight as it can go. Consequently, I need to go to a cobbler and have the strap cut a little shorter (so there's not so much overhang.)
My new favorite shoe
This shoe is very comfortable. I have terribly wide feet that swell and this style accommodates me very well. I just needed to order a half size larger than normal and its a perfect fit. I love that I can take out extra padding to accommodate my swelling. I am planning on buying extra pairs.
These shoes with diabetic type stretch fronts are for a 92 year old with bunions, hammer toes and swelling. She also had broken a hip and therapist at nursing home recomended this shoe and they are having a lift put on one shoe as her leg on the surgery side is now shorter. All around this shoe seems to be good for all her problems.
Love these shoes . Runs 1/2 size too big
I had to return my size 8 for a 7 1/2 because they run slightly too long. They are the most comfortable and stretchy lightweight shoe. I have bunions and need wide toe for this and I wear an AFO brace and you can remove insole to accommodate this. I also like that the soles are smooth because I tend to drag my feet and if sole is sticky I trip . Highly recommended but get 1/2 size smaller. I got 2 e and the heel is a little wide but not so much that my foot slips
