I am so excited about these boots! I never thought I'd be able to wear anything but Tennis shoes again. I purchased 2 prs, one a full size larger than my actual foot size, and thinking I'd need one of each size for my poor feet, I bought another a half size larger. I am normally a C/D but with the AFO, I needed more width so got 2E. I have a custom foot orthotic with huge arch support built in, and often require a soft brace as well for ankle support. My AFO, orthotic and soft brace fit right into the smaller pair! I did find that a slightly heavier cotton sock slips less in my boots, than my light socks. Propet, PLEASE NEVER STOP MAKING THESE WITH ZIPPERS!!! I'm wearing them around the house to be sure all is well and that I didn't overdo the width, since I am only used to tennis shoes. These have a different feel, but so far, I'm in love with them!

Did I mention love is in the air . . . .
. . . and on my feet! Hee hee, but seriously these are amazing boots. I love the look of the metallic brown so much I'm ordering them in Bordo Red Leather soon, too. I never thought such a rigid looking boot would be so comfy, but they are. I'm a tough fit for boots (and shoes too) because of bunions on both sides of both feet, a weak ankle on one side that tends to roll, and peripheral neuropathy in both feet. Not a problem with theses boots. Plus, they're fairly good in the rain so my puppy and I go walking in it now with these on (and it makes her sad, but she gets treats for making sure to exercise even when wet). I would recommend them, but maybe you already knew that if you read this far. :)
Great for Wide Feet
I just bought my third pair of these. I have wide feet, and these are just as comfortable and supportive as my usual hiking boots, but are more stylish and dressier. The wide range of colors is great. I have the red, blue, and olive suede, and have enough room in them for my hiking socks in my usual shoe size. I am on my feet most of the day at work, and these have not let me down. Great shoes!
At long last, happy feet
7 1/2 we, yes, extra wide for my boxy feet. Love the rounded, as opposed to pointy , toes. Where I live there are very few wide width shoes available. I hated winter because my feet hated enclosed shoes and I love to walk. I now have 2 pairs of these booties, thr dressy leather, size ex wide and blue suede extra extra wide. My feet have never been happier. One of those 'wish I'd found them a long time ago stories.
First time ordering this brand. Wasn't sure about ordering regular or wide width, as I am on the verge of wide feet at the ball of my foot. I ordered the regular and they fit great, with a little bit of room (I can wear thick socks!). I would say these run a little on the wide side. Very cute, comfortable, and easy to slip on and off.
No arch support
Why don't manufacturers make shoes for people with high arches? I had to go to Amazon and order some arch supports. They are plenty wide. Which is GREAT I do have EE width I was measured I even have room I guess in case my feet swell up? I recommend if you buy these and need arch support you get that figured out.
Great boot but bronze finish comes off easily!
I bought my usual size 9 in bronze finish. The bronze finish is really nice and I was so excited to wear them! The boot is super comfortable and I can wear them all day with no break in period. I've worn the boots about 4 times and the finish is already coming off on the front of the toe area and on the sides. Very disappointing for the price paid. They look like cheap boots!
