If Levi's 501's weren't part of your life at some point, that would be a surprise. Before the advent of skinny jeans, I couldn't wear Levi's. Now I can, and I absolutely live in them! If you want comfort (and - HUGE plus - jeans that are long enough!) and dependability but also want to look good in your skinnies? Look no further. These are awesome and I recommend them to any person with any body shape. If they work for me, they will work for anyone!
Absolutely love my 711 jeans! They fit like a glove, and are very comfortable. The demin is soft and has some stretch, so they do not feel stiff. I got the Indigo Ridge color and it is a nice dark wash with very subtle fading in the knee area. I am 5 ft. 2 in. and the short inseam is perfect length!
Looking for the right jean is the most frustrating thing. The materials are not the same, more stretch, so you need know that after you wash it, will stretch ALOT, so usually I ask for a 27/ 28, my last jean now is like, 24. SO, I bought sise 29 blue and black. Black for some reason, is smaller than the blue one. It's a little height waist for my taste, bust still work.
This was my first time buying jeans online. The reason for buying them online was that I live in a foreign country, and the clothes here are waaaaay to expensive. The measuring chart they have, was not very helpful. Being such a huge company, you would think Levis could make a more comprehensive measuring chart. I bought two jeans. These, in the color damage is done and some super skinny jeans in the exact same size. For some reason, these came at least two sizes larger than the super skinny ones. They fit all shaggy and I would wear them without any problem if it weren't for the butt area. They look like if a large person wore them and then they sold them to me. I am very disappointed that these jeans didn't work for me just because the sizing chart was lacking. I can't even return them because I don't live in the states and there is no postal system here.
These jeans are very comfortable, they have a good bit of stretch in them. They are a mid rise but I feel like it's a tad bit lower rise than other mid rise jeans I have. I like the rips in them, good placement. I'm 5'10" and 142 pounds, I tried on a 28x32 and it was a little big so I tried the 27x30 and that size was much better. It was a little short, hit above my ankle with the shorter length but I could still wear them with boots or high tops.
I've been wearing the Slight Curve skinnies since about 2010 and am I solid size 28 (US 6, sometimes even 4. 5'9, 140lbs.). The 28 in these --as well as the 712 slims-- are outrageous. Held up to my old size 28s, they were a good 2 inches narrower in the waist. It took a size 30 make it over my thighs and butt and not give me a muffin top. To top it off, they are way to thin and stretchy, so when I sat down in the 30s, the waistband in the back pulled down. Totally disappointed in the quality. I guess Levis has just gone downhill lately.
