We read several negative reviews of this little wine refrigerator and wanted to throw in our 2 cents. We purchased a wine bar from the Wine Enthusiast and this is the wine refrigerator that fits in it. The Enthusiast didn't have any in stock, but we found one online at Walmart for a lower price. The negative reviews said it wasn't quiet at all, but had a loud whine. Other negative reviews said that it became unstable or quit working after a few months to a year. So here's what we did. We ordered it online and had it shipped to the local Walmart for free. We picked it up there. We don't usually purchase the extended warranty, but at $28 for 3 years it was a no-brainer, especially if the thing breaks down in a year. So we get the thing home and find it has been dropped and the glass door is cracked. Back to Walmart for a full refund. (A lot easier than having to return it through the mail to the Enthusiast) We reordered another one from Walmart and this time the fridge arrived in great shape. It has two fans and if you listen closely you can hear them turning, but for us, it's not a problem. It works, looks nice, has easy to use controls, cool inside blue lights and is a nice touch to our wine storage cabinet. We'll let you know if it breaks, but if it does - back to Walmart. We'll start all over again. With the warranty package we are good for 3 years.

I did a lot of research on these things and went with this. Its great, quiet, keeps temp right their and displays the current temp if it fluctuates (like after you open door). Thermal is the way to go! Not sure why interior lights kick off after awhile but no biggy. No lock either. Classy appearance, buy it!
