New Refrigerator after 30 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am satisfied with my new Whirlpool. I do find it's operation sounds are different and more noticeable than my last frig of 30 years. The meat drawer is less deep than my last so I can't put as many meats and cheeses in it.The produce drawers in two different sizes is good for us. The freezer is especially large for us. Love the way you can change the levels of shelves inside and in the door.

It's not the refrigerator of old

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge has no manual on functionality only a quick reference. The manual provided is strictly for switching the doors. If they had an online manual of functions it would help, but I have not yet found it. The fridge doors will not swing closed when opened, even after I ensured it is level & used the bolts behind the grill to raise (which I found after multiple web searches - no manual). The top of the fridge in convex so you can't use it to check if level. You still have to push the doors to completely close or they will just stay open. The lower food section thermostat setting only has 4 options (the number dial of old would have been a better design). The recommended (#3) setting made the back panel ice up & also cause condensation under the bottom shelf to the veggie drawers. It also put moisture in food containers and pre-packaged items. I switched to #2 and put a digital thermometer in & it barely keeps my food in the safe temperature zone (40). I am limited to the fridge size that will fit under my cabinet, which puts me at the low end of a brand, but this fridge still was not cheap. I'm not sure if maybe I just got a defective unit. But based upon the quality of this fridge, I doubt I will purchase this brand again for any of my other kitchen appliances when needing replacement.

What I think.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At factory settings the lettuce freezes. I turn temp down the ice cream in freezer is very, very soft. outside of freezer door is cold. Great interior space. Cannot get icemaker
