I have been on the Weight Watchers program for many years and have lost some weight. I needed a change so decided to try the Wheat Belly program. Third day on this program and I can definitely tell a difference in my appetite and sleep habits. I was constantly munching on something during the day and it was mostly full of carbs. Eliminating most of the carbs from my diet has not been a problem - appears to be a great program - only time will tell. So far, I like it a lot!!!

BORING!!
This book was a pain to read. It took 200 pages of jibber to finally get down to his plan in a nutshell. Overall, it's just a variation of Atkins. I was extremely disappointed. I think this Doctor was focusing his research on his Celiac Patients which I could not identify with throughout the book. He also talked about cardiac & diabetic patients... but again, I was expecting more standardized research and outcome. Don't get me wrong... My heart goes out to people with Celiac disease as well as other ailments, it's just not what I was expecting from this book.

BORING!!

This is a very informative book that I already have a copy of. Bought this copy for a friend that needs to lose some weight.

Very eye opening!

I learned a lot from this book. Dr. Davis is very detailed, even at times more so then I can comprehend, but I like that he's done so much research and knows what he's talking about. At first I thought there was no way I could follow the diet, but in reality it's not a diet, it's a true lifestyle change. Its a very healthy, natural approach to food, so it makes sense. I highly recommend it!

The title is to the point! Visceral fat is bad!

Still reading, just finished chapter 13. This book has me looking for alternatives already. And I have realized that GM wheat is not my friend. It is a pity, but all bad things must end. I am excited with the possibilities of success. No, I mean the probabilities of success are mine to be had. Great information and guidance. Thanks!
