After several weeks of scouring the internet for an affordable yet stylish desk, I took the plunge and purchased this desk. I had been looking at some great designer ones as well as some very inexpensive simplistic one. The truth is you cannot get away with purchasing a decent quality piece of furniture without spending over one hundred to one hundred fifty dollars. While the craftsmanship isn’t superlative, I find it to be quite durable/sturdy. I didn’t have the construction issues that other reviewers experienced, all the parts were there and in working order. However, one of the holes for the extra support bars in the back was stripped and I was unable to fully assemble. I didn’t like the look of the extra support bars anyway, so I just left them off. The only thing I would change about it is adding a compartment on the top for cord management. Other than that, it was a perfect mix of style and price for me.

First off, the legs look grey online, yet are black, which isn't that big of a deal. Secondly, as I am assembling, all was simple to put together with easy to follow instructions, but before the desk was complete I opened the drawers/keyboard area and it was almost completely detached. The screws were missing and it was hanging on with one screw (instead of 3) on the left side. I removed one of the screws from the right side and had to reattach the left side with a new screw hole. I wasn't going to disassemble and return at this point. It's completely unnoticeable to anyone but myself, but if you take one hard pull on the handles, the drawer will probably come apart! Also has small chips from either side of the drawer that you can see when you open it up. Again, not that big of a deal, but I guess it's to be expected when ordering a $150 desk.
