This is really a nice generator
A few years back I used to borrow my father in laws red generator, and this guy is exactly the same at 1/3 the cost.
Way better than I imagined it would be. This is much lighter and quieter than the other models I was comparing against. If you're looking for an inverter generator, just get this one. You won't regret it
Nice quiet generator.
Compact, quiet good on gas. Haven't had it too long yet but ran four hours.
As good as Honda
Amazingly quiet - feels very solid. Runs perfect. Highly recommend. No need to spend $$ for honda.
Seems built well. Is very quiet. Easy to move and operate only test now is longevity. I like it
Noisy but works
This generator works. The first one I bought the exact same one did not work. This one is loud and I don't think they're supposed to be this loud. I'm sending this one back even though it works which I'm grateful for to get an American made Westinghouse because I think it's going to be built better and might be quieter than this one. Plus the Wen has 25 hour oil changes and the Westinghouse has 50 hour oil changes. Also with the Wen, I usually have to pull it twice to get it started.
Maybe mine is defective, but its terrible
Out of the box it didnt run smooth at idle or with load. It smoked white when throttling up, I checked the oil level and it wasnt too high. After using for a weekend it runs very rough now and black smoke pours out of this thing when starting or throttling up. Ill be returning and buying a Honda. I KNOW the Honda will last years. This thing lasted 10 hours
MUCH Louder Than Wen's Specs and Claims
I purchased this Wen generator specifically because of its ultra low noise specification (51 db). It doesn't come close to reaching the 51 db level. After getting it started I noticed it was louder than I anticipated. Sure enough, I used a db noise meter and it measured the db rating at 82 db. I then tried to put it in its most optimal noise setting (econo mode with 25% or less load). It got down to 78 db. I then put it in econo mode and placed the shipping box over the unit. With that I managed to get it down to 73 db. The product does not meet my needs or expectations
