I bought this sander specifically for a current project, an Adirondack chair. There are many different surface shapes and sizes that need sanding and this sander has worked perfectly. I am totally happy with my purchase.

A great tool. Comes all assembled and ready to work. Use it every day with no problems. Very satisfied.
Glad i went with this 1 with the cast iron bottom
I havent used it for a long period of time yet, its been too cold. I ground down a piece of pallet wood with the belt that came on it. I pushed down intentionally trying to bog it down. It kept its speed without sounding like it was being worked to hard. I think it will be a great asset for my projects.
Super quiet works great for the occasional woodworker. I use it in a major manufacturing environment running it for hours at a time. It will bog down after continual use or heavy pressure.
Works well. Some poor design aspects.
I bought this primarily because my old belt sander did not have a dust collection port or a disc sander. This product has both and works well. It's also very easy to put together. I connected my big dust collector with an adapter and it worked like a charm. However, as reported elsewhere, the mitre gauge and slot don't play well together. The gauge wiggles around in the slot way too much. Also, when attaching the top "work support", I could only use the upper of the two bolts provided. The lower bolt hole is located too low on the chassis. Using it requires lowering the work surface to the point where it impedes the movement of the belt. Very sloppy design/execution.
Works very well, side table a little wobbly and sand paper is not reddly available in local stores had to order it and it doesn't come with any extra.
