    Great Beginners Tablet!

We bought this for our grandchild's 5th birthday and it has been her constant companion ever since! She loves it and we get peace of mind knowing she is having fun while learning, not just playing games. I believe technology is way too advanced and too expensive with all the things on the market now for kids and was extremely hesitant to get her any thing like this even though "all the other kids have one". Just because kids these days CAN use them, doesn't mean they SHOULD...However, after much careful research and comparison, we are satisfied that this product is age appropriate, affordable, and educational. With so many apps pre-loaded and to download, it keeps them constantly busy, still learning while having great fun. The only downfall is that you have to purchase other cartridges for it and the least expensive ones I have seen so far are around $20 a pop so that part can be expensive for the parents. However, it does come with one and has so much to do on it already so it isn't an immediate must-have!

Screen is much smaller than previous models

The price was right when I ordered this for my 2nd child. My 1st child has the older version and loves it. But this version has a much smaller screen. The tablet size itself is the same but the viewable area is smaller. I considered returning it and trying for an older model but I think she'll like the fact that it's pink. And for the amount of time I let her spend on it (no more than 1hr), I figured it's satisfactory. Note to walmart - you need to more clearly label the game cartidges online for the ages. I think I'm ordering the 7yo game and the 4yo game arrives (beware purchasers of the game ages).

    Really?

4 AA batteries that you keep needing to replace? Really? I had to invest in rechargeable batteries + charger because I bought one of these for each of my twins. That was after I almost went bankrupt replacing batteries. I would say go for the Inno Tab 3S. That one comes with rechargeable batteries, and more features. You also don't have to plug the 3S in to a computer to download games & stuff, cos it's got WiFi. The screen size of the 3S is also a tad bigger. So no to this, but yes to the 3S.

Better to buy an iPod touch

The tablet was slow. It took too long to synch to the PC. You had to buy software in their store, and you need a USB to wire it up. You need to buy batteries. Given technology choices these days, it would be easier for parents and kids if you bought them an iPod Touch and get free apps from WiFi.

    great tablet for Grandkids

Bought 2 one pink one blue better price on line with free shipping

Great Product if your kid has not used ipad yet

Pros: Lighweight, Slim Build in Camera Lot of Apps and games Apps are affordable (Some are just $2.99) My daughter loved the pink design Cons: Tedious installation and setup (You do have to connect to the Learning Lodge in order to unlock and access games and apps) Touch screen is not senstive enough. It simply does'nt respond sometimes.

    Good tablet for girls

I got this tablet for my 8 year old daughter. She loves it and takes it everywhere with it. The tablet has default games installed that were really fun. My daughter loved the stop watch feature and times us where ever we went. The price of the item is a bit expensive.

    Excellent learning tool...

My daufhter will be excited to have this to learn. She's at that age where now's a great time to engage in learning.
Great learning tool for early childhood.

this product is 4+ year young kids not for2 years

This product is for kids that are 4+ years not for 2+ years.A two year young kid only knows hoe to turn it off and on. Batteries go fast, parents you be aware of the fact that you need a lot of money to spend on buying batteries one after another. Not worth it and you have to sit down and buy through wifi more games oh what a pain!!!!!
