After looks at lots of tv online. I kept coming back to this one. Best deal with the features I wanted. Great experience in store picking up. Only issue I had was Walmart missed the delivery day by 2 days but I think it was because they called me in the afternoon the day after I purchased it to verify that I had actually ordered it and it wasn't ordered by a somebody that had stole my card number. I hadn't made a $2k purchase every online before. So I'm glad they did! Tv hook up was easy and works great!

So far, so good !!
Setup wasn't easy but Vizio tech support was awesome !!
Beautiful picture and the Vizio 38.5 Sound Bar gives you theater quality sound !!
Great purchase !!
70 " Vizio
Brought this T.V for our " Man Cave "in the basement. Tested it out. Love it. Now to have it mounted !!
I love this TV for its picture quality, features, ease of set up and use.It is the best picture I have seen with an led TV.Black levels are ink black.I love that the TV doesn't have built in apps.Very smart Vizio.TV will not get viruses and tablet is always upgradable. I use vizio smart cast app and it works flawlessly.
I'm not a video snob, just a home owner and the monitor works great. It is a monitor not a TV and I prefer it that way. The CPU can easily be upgraded to the latest, just buy a new phone.
Great TV, best for low light theater rooms!
I have had this TV for about 3 wks now. It is a great TV, with some amazing features. I bought this after doing extensive research on what companies are selling the best 2016 TVs. Although Samsung and LG are the obvious choices I was going with, once I discovered the features and quality of the 2016 M Series Vizios, I was sold. Only Vizio and LG are providing you with the latest 4k tech BUILT IN to the 2016 TV. All other companies will give you 4k only, or 4k with HDR for a hefty price. I believe that Vizio's offerings are much better, especially since you can buy a 70 inch M series for less than $2000 and the remote is a full android tablet. This TV has HDR (update downloads once tv is hooked to internet), with 4k, and included is the Dolby vision technology. All 3 are needed to have the latest 4k tech out these days, and again so far ONLY Vizio and LG are offering it. No matter what Sony or Samsung, or even LG tell you, or the retail competitors..GO TO SAMs and buy this particular model. It is cheapest at Sams as far as I have seen. I watched xfinity on it through hdmi, looks great especially movies on HBO hd. I also loaded 4k netflix and youtube, looks flawless. But the best was to watch UHD movies in the VUDU app, Mad Max Fury Road (cost $30), in true 4k HDR with dolby vision, (only VUDU offers this currently, unless you go buy the actual disc, for which you need to buy a 4k blu ray disc player, looking at about a $350 purchase). I streamed the movie from the built in Vudu cast app, I was blown away. Wow the color really pops and you will see colors you have never noticed before (if you've seen the movie already). That's what happened with Mad Max, I had watched it off HBO hd, and the movie looked amazing, however 4k hdr dolby mixed in on VUDU, WOW. The movie scenes are ridiculously smooth. Since I am a movie buff I am really happy with this tv. Being an avid Samsung buyer, Vizio has won me over. With that said, I will admit that some picture tuning and color fix are needed, if you are not happy with the preset picture options. Some of the preloaded options work really well, like Vivid option on cartoon Disney movies looks amazing. Standard looks great for xfinity. I went online and found some suggested settings for the tv and they worked great for movies. It is true that this tv is best for rooms that are not too bright. I have it mounted in my theater room, no windows there, and it shines great with picture. If you have a bright room, go with the P- Series Vizio. The tablet that comes as a remote is simple and easy to use, it took me about 5-10 min max to set up the initial settings and I was watching tv. I know others have written about not being happy with the tablet, I am happy, have not had any problems. My father downloaded the Vizio Smartcast app on his phone, so he doesn't use the tablet but uses his Galaxy phone to control the tv features. So far I am really happy and I recommend this for anyone thinking up upgrading in size department. This size for less than $2000 is great. Add the built in google cast feature, the tablet remote, and HDR with Dolby vision = phenominal tv and tv deal. If you are worried about the purchase, buy the $99 service plan for 4yrs that Sam's offers with the tv, through squaretrade. Only $99 dollars to cover a $1800 product, sweetens the deal, especially since for 70inch Tvs they come to you to fix it.
We went from a 50" 720p TV to this and its great picture is so clear it almost looks 3d. They didn't have this at our Sam's Club so we ordered it from Samsclub.com. The 1st TV wouldn't turn on so they sent another one which arrived with a broken screen, the driver took both back and Sam's refunded our money. We drove to a Sam's 50 mi. away. Bought it and hauled it home. All this took over a month but it was worth it, We love this TV. Sam's should find a better way or a better shipping company.
Great features, poor executions
This set has a terrific picture, but from the beginning I experienced intermittent loss of sound. Several calls to Vizio were frustrating. They blamed the cable company (a technician came to the house and checked everything), the HDMI cables (I checked 3 different ones), etc. I reconnected my old TV and it worked just fine, but they said different TVs have differences (???). I'll return it.
Worked for 6 Hours
Worked for six hours, then the edges started to look funny, then the picture went black (but the sound worked), then the sound went out... Dead on the first day of use. Very disappointing.
This is to notify that I purchased one of your t.v.'s on 03/04/14. One year later, line appeared across the top and bottom of the t.v.. Unfortunately, when I contacted Vizio and Walmart, they stated that there was nothing they can do to help because there was no warranty purchased, that it would cost more to try and fix. The representative actually advised me to buy a new t.v. This is bizarre because this is a huge t.v. that took a lot of work to put up on my wall and the t.v. did not last a year. We continued to watch the t.v. with the lines across it and just this week, the t.v. finally went blank. It's November 2016, a little over two years after a $2500 purchase and I have no t.v. My question to your company is why would a $2500 t.v. go blank in a matter of two years ? Why is this defective and not built to last ? I understand that there is nothing you can do because of the warranty issue but I still wanted to reach out and notify of this defective merchandise. Warranty or no warranty, this should of never occurred in a life span of 2 years. We bought a Vizio t.v. because of its size and reputation and we are highly unsatisfied and disappointed with your brand.
