    Great product

This is one great TV. I really like it. Everything is just perfect.the price is great and the product is excellent. Actually, I plan to get two more for my house. I am now enjoying all the great features of the 50 inches and since I am completely satisfied I intend to get two 40 inches for my other rooms
    Visio e5001 5001-B1 50''

After extensive online shopping I am 100% happy.

I was one of the first to find this new redesigned 2014 Vizio tv at Vizio made the blacks much darker for 2014 with the 16 active LED zones which is only found on much more expensive TVs. As far as refresh rates even when my son is gaming on his Wii the 120hz refresh rate is faster then we (pun intended) will ever will need. I have connected the WiFi and am very impressed with the speed of the processor while streaming vids on YouTube. Its as thin as any "razor" profile and looks great. The only problem I had was having to cut the spacer shims for "hanging" it, but it was simple using a hack saw. I got it for $550.00, and bought the 3 yr extended warranty just because its a new design this year. Regular definition signals look good, however in high definition it looks steller. Very crisp, very clear and F.I.N.E ....fine! I was ready to purchase a new 2014 Samsung 6350 series for $999.00, or 6400 series for over a grand, but took a chance figuring I could have 2 of these for the same amount. Save your cash, and buy this Tv.

    TV For Home Use

We have purchased a number of Vizio TVs over the past few years: 47-55-60, and now 50 Inch. Two from Walmart. However, we have been experincing problems since it's purchase a week or so ago, which we have attempted to resolve with the Vizio Service Department who have put us through a myrid of Layman's/Non-Technical Diagnostics in their attempt to isolate the problem. This TV for some reason shuts off after hours of use and needs to be turned back on and all the Timers are shut off. We hit test button, restored back to factory settings, checked powet supply and replaced cable box. We were also advised that it may be an issue of "File Sharing" which may be requred to be turned off by the Cable Company Modem provided? I've never heard of this before? I've never experienced this issue with our other 3 Vizios and am now in the process of dealing with the Vizio Service Deprtmant in the hopes of resolution. Wish me luck!!!

    Great TV so far

In all honesty this was my first flat screen purchase. I did do a lot of research on TV's before purchasing..... Walmart does have some great deals, and some friends have bought the Visio TV's and I was pleasantly surprised, by the great service, from Walmart. the ship to store worked great, their employees were great and very helpful. Can not give you a long time evaluation, but so far, I am really loving it! So far the picture is great, I am a little fuzzy about all of the options. This Visio did fit all of my requirements for size, and where it had to fit.... So please bear with me right now, I am still studying, and I do like the full manual that is built into the TV. But all-in-all.... I am very impressed at this time. I did buy a sound bar, but not a Vizio, but it does work great..(as solo) I haven't hooked it in yet to the TV, but it puts out great sound. I will give the review on the Pyle sound bar, in another post ok? All in all it is a great TV so far, great price, and the picture is awesome, and yes, I am doing this off of an antennae......

    Not As Smart as Advertised

I did lots of research and decided to go with the Vizio 50 inch smart TV. We already have two Vizios in other roooms and they are excellent tvs. The picture was excellent, the sound not too great(as most super thin flat screens) and the set-up was very easy and fast. Here is the problem: The Smart tv set-up was easy and the interface for the Smart functionality was downright great, but the memory(this is my guess) in the set for loading videos was woefully lacking. When we tried to use Netflix or Amazon Prime, we could expect the movie to stop about every two to three minutes and go into the spinning circle mode. It about drove us crazy. I kept it for a week hoping that it would settle in and improve., but it did not. I set up my old LG 37 and my old Roku box right beside the Vizio and the old set up worked fine as the Vizeo sat and spinned. Returning it to Walmart was easy and I purchased a Sony from Walmart that same day. The Sony was not a Smart tv so we purchased a Roku plug in for the set. Could not be happier. Works brilliantly. Thanks Walmart for your excellent return policies.

    AMAZING PICTURE, Perfect for Gaming!

After about 2 months of research and looking at a ton of TVs, I bought this 50" Vizio (was the last one) and at $598 with no interest for 18 months due to having the credit card, made it a steal! I upgraded from a 40" lcd tv that ran at 60hz and let me say BIG difference. I bought it to take advantage of my Xbox ones next gen graphics, and it does!! This TV is super crisp with different modes like movie, gaming etc, and adjust everything accordingly! best 50 inch by far, for the money and quality!!

    Another great Vizio

We bought this TV to replace our 42 inch. We have owned it 11 days and decided we need something bigger; however, that's the only reason we are exchanging it. The apps at the bottom are easy to get to and use. The quality is great for someone who doesn't focus on pixels and from someone who has owned the same TV forever. The sound works fine and seems pretty loud at just "20" on the remote. If you are expecting surround sound then you probably would want speakers. The only reason I am rating this TV a 4 star is because it was confusing to figure out where everything was and to remember it. The remote was confusing also but hey, I didn't read any instructions and I don't use updated technology often. Overall, this is a perfect TV.

    Daddy Like.

Nice big screen, lots of features, great color. I cant judge the wireless because I am using wired network. I watched some Netflix the other night and it worked beautifully. Pause, play, rewind, fast-forward all worked nicely. I can't judge the sound because I also bought a Vizio 5.1 surround sound with the TV. I might have given features 5 stars except it does not have a feature that my old TV had, one I used almost daily. My old TV had the ability to turn off the TV screen while I was playing music through the TV speakers. Such a simple little feature that you take for granted until it is gone. Well, I'm going to get off this computer and go watch some TV right now.

    Did Not Like. BLURRY Fast-MOTION

50inch 1080p 120hz with Full Back Lit Zones for $600 "I'm in!!" Pros- Sharp Color. Easy Setup, Wall Mounted and is very light, Smart Tv. Cons- Blurr! Says 120hz but definitely is not. Simple things in movies/shows such as arm swinging and running was blurry. And thats at 1080i & 1080p. The Details under the menu shows its only Tru-60hz and no matter what connection used it stayed at 60hz. Bought for NFL season and was disappointed cause the 120hz is needed for blurrless motion. RETURNED and exchanged for the LG 55' tru120hz 240MOTION. AND CANT BE HAPPIER!! Dont go near the E series their cheap for a reason, great feature but lacks the refresh rate for clean viewing.
