defective out of the box
as soon as i turned it on for the first time it blinked on & off for about 10-15 seconds. at first, i thought it was doing this simply b/c it was the first time for it to be turned on however i was wrong. it did this pretty much every time i turned it on and it would also do it when i changed the channels. very frustrating as i had to return it approx 4-days later as i thought it would quit but again i was wrong. i bought this to replace a samsung that had recently got struck by lightning though after returning the defective vizio i essentially went back with another samsung.....

defective out of the box

Awesome picture!

This is my first time owning this brand of tv and I am completely blown away by the many features. Assembly of the TV was super easy. It only takes a few minutes to attach the legs and the tv is very sturdy. Enough room to screw in cable wire. I can't begin to describe the vivid, vibrant colors this tv has. Picture quality is awesome! The picture is so crisp and clear. Setup is super easy and self explanatory and no problems using the remote to program. Another feature I like is the remote because it just has the basic buttons and nothing too confusing or something you don't need. It does require 2 AA batteries (not included)The sound quality of this tv is amazing and the surround sound is great. This tv can sit on a stand or can be hung on the wall. This is definitely an upgrade for my family and we are all pleased and extremely satisfied with this tv and I know you won't be disappointed either! Fantastic Picture

We've had the tv for about 3 weeks. The picture is phenomenal! So clear. Take the tome to adjust the settings to fine-tune the color. Love that there are buttons for Netflix & Amazon Prime right on the

remote control. Great value! Great picture! Can't ho wrong.

Picture Quality is unbelievable

We replace a 58 inch wide screen tv we purchased in 2009 and the the picture quality is just unbelievable. It's clear,sharp and the colors are vibrant and warm. Of course it's a little bit bigger then the previous tv however I can view and read words without wearing my glasses.

Great TV value

This TV is a great buy as it has many functions and 90. Spot FALD (full array local dimming) which gets the right brightness on up to 90 spots simultaneously. It has many streaming features and can get much brighter than others in the price range.

My only complaint is it seems to have a low performance CPU asresponse to the remote can be very slow.

I have an LG 4k HDR OLED, an earlier M-Series VIzio 4k nonHDR, and a 2018 TCL 4k HDR with which to compare and which I ranked in picture quality in that order. This new Vizio Quantum M Series, while not matching the much more expensive LG OLED, comfortably slides into second place in that lineup. Good picture. Had an inexplicable issue with the set turning itself on at first while unattended, but their tech support quickly resolved that issue. Would definitely purchase again.
