Its a wire. Not much to go wrong other than a short. It should be noted however that it has 10 gauge wires. It will only support 110/120 V appliances. If you have 220/240 V appliances you cant use this extension cord.

It works.
Very pleased.
Quick delivery and reasonable price. Glad to find this item, as very high volts and amps (220V/50Amps) require extra safety precautions.

Best RV/Tesla charging extension cord
I like this product a lot. Its perfect for my vacation, so I can charge my tesla at any of my friends place if they have 240v, mostly laundry would have that plug. This is light weight and works well. I gave it 4 because I only used few times, so for good. Only suggesstion to seller is to had handles so we can attach and detach easily.
SJT cord rating not an outdoor STW cord
The cord comes from China. with no VEVOR reference. The cord has a SJT rating not a STW, so its for indoor use only. When charging my car at 240 V 20 amps it is fine. At 40 amps it gets warm as 10 awg wires are rated for 30 amp service. My Audi charger has 10 awg as well. I believe in Europe 10 awg covers 40 amps.
The wire appears to be 50 AMP connectors attached to 30 AMP wire. That was why it wasn't so heavy! It seems to be doing its job, just leery of a fire! But hubby says it will be okay, since we aren't using alot of current in the MotorHome while it is parked in our driveway.
No rated for 50 AMPs
50 AMP RV Power Cord is normally 6-6-6-8 AWG. This cord is 10 AWG. 10AWG is rated at 30 AMP Max Nice cord but insufficient size.
