Good cheap commo

If you are looking for a good cheap radio, this one is for you. Nice clear reception and transmission, very compact and rugged. I have mine mounted between the front seats in my 1993 Jeep Wrangler and have an extension speaker mounted just behind my head on the roll bar since the noise level is high from the canvas top during high speeds. I also have ear phones that I plug into the ext. speaker jack when the wind noise is really bad. The amp drives both the ext speaker or the head phones with crisp, clear and powerdfull sound. I am very satisified with this product. You will need a good antenna and a SWR meter to do the match and prevent damage to the transmitter and receiver.

Excellent low cost CB

I recently took this CB on a long road trip to kick the tires on its performance. This radio is very light and durable with an ergonomic microphone. On my trip, I was able to make numerous contacts on the road, and received good signal reports using the Tram 703 magnetic mount antenna. This radio is a model of functional simplicity (only a few buttons) with great audio. You'll have to purchase a separate antenna, and a cigarette lighter power plug (only bare wires provided), but it is worth the effort.
